MISPLACED TRUST

"I really enjoyed this opening because it immediately introduces Queen as a woman who seems to have everything—success, love, and lifelong friendships—while hinting that not everything may be as perfect as it appears. The friendship dynamics are especially interesting, and Lucy’s subtle bitterness at the gathering creates a strong sense that something dramatic is about to happen. I’m definitely curious to see how Queen’s “perfect” life unfolds and what consequences that final warning—“And that was the first mistake”—will bring. ❤️✨"

Amazing

"I am amazed at the qulity and the content of this story, even thouth I have read just two chapters so far. But I loved what I read and it's totally awesome work. I'll read more when I can. I am not quite sure what Lucy is up to, but it is clear that she is up to something. What though I honestly can't tell. She seems to me, to be maybe hiding something, but what I do not know and I could be completely wrong. But that's teh beauty of the two chapters so far, it's keeping me guessing and I do not know how far off wrong or right I am. But I honestly do look forward to reading more."

Misplaced Trust !!!

"What caught my attention most in this story is how Lucy is portrayed as an envious, ungrateful person, her sharp tongue, subtle jealousy, and unappreciative nature make the betrayal in chapter 9 hit hard! The author does an incredible job building claustrophobic tension from that initial cute friend group vibe into a total nightmare, especially during the forest road trip scenes where the car breaks down and phones lose signal. The pacing was fantastic, I was genuinely holding my breath all the way to the end, especially with that brutal cage cliffhanger! It is so well-written, and I will definitely be waiting for updates!"

This story literally had me screaming at my screen! 😭🔥

"I just read all the chapters in one sitting and honestly, my anxiety is through the roof! The way this story starts off so cute with the whole friend group, and then completely spirals into an absolute nightmare is crazy. Lucy is officially one of the most terrifying villains ever. The sheer jealousy and the way she calmly set up that whole road trip trap? I was so stressed reading the forest scenes. You can literally feel the claustrophobia when the car breaks down and the phones lose signal. The author did an amazing job making me feel stranded right there with them. And poor Queen! She gave these girls everything, and that betrayal in the compound hurt me personally lol. That moment in chapter 9 where she said she "misplaced her trust" broke my heart into a million pieces. If you're looking for a thriller that will actually make your heart race and make you trust absolutely no one, you HAVE to read this. The cliffhangers are brutal in the best way possible. Please update soon, I need to know how they get out of that cage!"

Be Careful Who you Ultimately Trust

"Queen, a sucessful business woman in Ikoyi, Lagos, is quite satisfied with her life. Not only is she one of the wealthiest women in Lagos, she is also surrounded by good family and friends. Most notably Anita, Kate and the somewhat suspicious Lucy. Lucy, who is financially and emotionally unstable, has a sharp tongue and makes the uncomfortable remarks about Queen’s new car that leaves everyone feeling uneasy. Nonetheless Queen agrees to go with her on a car trip to a distant friend's wedding party. After all, what could possibly go wrong during the trip? What could go wrong indeed, heh-heh. I won't reveal much more except to say that nothing appears as it seems and Author Queen T will keep you guessing til the very last minute. At the time of this writing I'm on Chapter Six. (Don't trust the Chapter Counter listed above. It always gets it wrong.) I'm still not sure what will ultimately happen to Queen, but I am most certainly rooting for her. This is the perfect novel when you're in the mood for a mystery mixed with a little betrayal. "
