Safar-e-Haqeeqat

Once upon a time, in the vast deserts of Arabia, there lived an ancient tribe. Among the people, there was a famous legend that beneath the endless sands lay a mysterious book called "The Journey of Truth (Safar-e-Haqeeqat)." It was said that anyone who searched for it for wealth or fame would never succeed. But whoever sought it with a sincere heart in search of the truth, Allah would make their path easy.

In that tribe lived an eighteen-year-old young man named Ayaan. Since childhood, he had been fascinated by ancient stories and hidden mysteries. Before his passing, his grandfather handed him an old map and said only these words:

«"My son, not everything that shines is gold... and not every old book is just paper."»

Ayaan carefully kept the map. A few days later, he gathered his courage and set out alone into the desert. The scorching heat of the day, the freezing winds of the night, and the endless silence tested his determination.

After three days of travel, a fierce sandstorm arose. When it finally settled, Ayaan discovered an ancient stone doorway buried beneath the sand. Strange words were carved into it:

«"Only the traveler of patience, sincerity, and faith reaches the Truth."»

He pushed the heavy door open. Inside was complete darkness except for an old oil lamp burning in the center beside a wooden chest. When he opened the chest, he found no gold or jewels—only an ancient dust-covered book.

On its cover were written two words:

"Safar-e-Haqeeqat" (The Journey of Truth).

The moment Ayaan opened the first page, the walls around him trembled, and he realized that his true journey had only just begun.

Every chapter of the book would lead him to a new trial—deception, fear, greed, and even the battle against his own ego. If he failed even one test, the next page would never open.

The first page contained only one sentence:

«"To reach the Truth, first learn to know your own heart."»

The ground shook violently. A hidden passage opened in the wall. Taking a deep breath and saying the name of Allah, Ayaan entered the narrow tunnel.

After walking for a while, he reached three different paths.

Above them were written:

Wealth

Fame

Truth

The first two glowed with beautiful light, while the third was dark and narrow.

For a moment Ayaan hesitated, but then he remembered his grandfather's words:

«"The easiest road is not always the right one."»

He chose the path marked Truth.

As he walked, strange whispers surrounded him.

"Go back..."

"You will never succeed..."

"This is all an illusion..."

Fear filled his heart, but he closed his eyes and prayed:

«"O Allah, if my intention is sincere, guide me."»

Immediately the voices disappeared.

At the end of the passage stood a magnificent hall. In its center rested a shining mirror upon a marble platform.

The next page of the book opened by itself:

«"Whoever looks into this mirror shall see their greatest enemy."»

Ayaan looked inside.

He froze.

The reflection staring back at him was himself—but with burning red eyes, arrogance, greed, and anger covering his face.

The reflection smiled.

«"If you wish to reach the Truth... you must defeat me first."»

Shocked, Ayaan asked,

«"How can I defeat you?"»

The reflection replied,

«"Not with a sword... but with your choices."»

Darkness consumed the hall.

When the light returned, Ayaan found himself standing in a poor village where hungry and thirsty people begged for help.

A wealthy man approached him carrying a heavy bag filled with gold coins.

«"All this gold is yours," he said. "Just forget these people and continue your journey."»

For a moment Ayaan imagined how much his life could change.

Then he remembered the words of the book:

«"Only the one who keeps their heart pure reaches the Truth."»

He placed the gold on the ground.

«"My destination is not gold... it is Truth."»

Instantly, the rich man and the village disappeared.

It had all been another test.

The second page opened.

«"You have passed your first trial... but the real journey has only begun."»

The ground split open.

Ancient stone stairs appeared, leading underground to another massive door bearing the same symbol that had been drawn on his grandfather's map.

Ayaan opened the door.

Inside was a magnificent library filled with thousands of ancient books, perfectly preserved as though someone cared for them every day.

At the center sat an old man dressed in white.

He smiled.

«"I have been waiting for you, Ayaan."»

Ayaan was stunned.

«"How do you know my name?"»

The old man replied,

«"The Journey of Truth chooses its own travelers."»

He handed Ayaan an ancient key.

«"This key opens the next door. But remember... what lies beyond it will change your life forever."»

After a long journey, Ayaan reached another enormous gate.

It read:

«"Not everyone is worthy of seeing every truth."»

He unlocked the door.

Inside was a glowing chamber.

At its center lay an ancient flag and beneath it, a hidden map.

Written on the back of the map were these words:

«"The true destination is not the last page of the book... but the place this map will lead you."»

Suddenly footsteps echoed behind him.

A man dressed entirely in black stood in the doorway.

He said coldly,

«"You are not the only one searching for the Journey of Truth... and I will never allow you to reach the end."»

The masked stranger slowly approached.

«"Who are you?" Ayaan asked.»

The stranger smiled.

«"I belong to those who have searched for this book for centuries. But unlike you, we seek not the Truth... but to keep it hidden."»

He explained that the book contained a secret that could destroy lies and deception if it ever reached humanity.

Ayaan clutched the book tightly.

Instead of drawing a sword, the stranger tossed an ancient coin onto the floor.

The room shook violently.

The ceiling collapsed.

Ayaan escaped through hidden tunnels until he reached an ancient city buried beneath the desert sands.

In its center stood a towering minaret glowing with golden light.

His map pointed directly toward it.

He whispered,

«"O Allah, if this journey is for Your pleasure, guide me."»

As he stepped forward, the call to prayer echoed through the valley.

Deep inside, Ayaan knew his greatest test was about to begin.

He entered an abandoned city and found a ruined mosque where an old man was reciting the Qur'an.

The elder told him,

«"You are close to your destination, but remember—not everyone who reaches the destination is successful."»

He handed Ayaan a silver key and an old note.

It read:

«"When the full moon shines and the shadow of the minaret touches the earth, the ground will reveal its secret."»

That very night was a full moon.

As the moonlight struck the minaret, the earth trembled.

Hidden stairs appeared beneath the sand.

Ayaan descended into an enormous underground hall decorated with carvings of travelers who had searched for the Truth.

At the end stood a massive door.

It read:

«"Only one who speaks the truth may enter."»

A mysterious voice asked him three questions.

Why did you begin this journey?

Ayaan answered honestly,

«"At first, I wanted to uncover the book's mystery. But now... I seek only the Truth."»

Light filled the hall.

The second question came.

«"If you had to choose between your life and your destination?"»

Ayaan replied,

«"My life belongs to Allah. I will choose whatever pleases Him."»

The light grew brighter.

Then came the final question.

«"If the Journey of Truth is not a treasure but a responsibility that will change your entire life, will you still continue?"»

Without hesitation he answered,

«"If it brings Allah's pleasure, I will never turn back."»

The giant door slowly opened.

Inside, surrounded by brilliant light, rested the missing final part of the book.

But before Ayaan could reach it, the masked stranger returned—this time with many followers.

Their goal was simple:

To stop him.

The leader demanded,

«"Give us the book, and you may leave alive."»

Ayaan refused.

The leader smiled.

«"We are not enemies of the book. We are its guardians."»

Ayaan was confused.

The leader explained that not everyone was worthy of carrying such a responsibility.

Suddenly the hall began collapsing.

Ayaan grabbed the missing half of the book.

The two parts united.

The pages floated into the air.

There were no maps to treasure, no magical powers, no hidden riches.

Instead, every page spoke about wisdom, justice, patience, honesty, good character, and complete trust in Allah.

Tears filled Ayaan's eyes.

He finally understood.

The true treasure had never been gold.

It had always been a righteous heart.

Then new words appeared on the final page:

«"The journey is not over... now you are the next guardian."»

The masked leader removed his mask.

For a moment Ayaan thought it was his grandfather.

It was not.

But the man looked remarkably like him.

He said,

«"I was your grandfather's closest companion. Together we protected the Journey of Truth for many years."»

He handed Ayaan a letter written by his grandfather.

It read:

«"My beloved Ayaan... if you are reading this, then you have conquered your ego, your greed, and your fear. Remember, the purpose of this journey is not to find treasure, but to bring people closer to Allah and to perfect their character."»

Moments later the ancient place began collapsing forever.

Everyone escaped.

But as Ayaan stepped outside, one final page flew away into the darkness.

On it were written only these words:

«"The real Truth still remains."»

Without hesitation, Ayaan followed it.

The page led him across unknown deserts to a hidden mountain pass where a stone inscription declared:

«"Only those who trust their Lord may pass."»

Inside a silent cave stood a stone pedestal.

The page landed upon it.

When Ayaan picked it up, he discovered it was completely blank.

A mysterious voice echoed through the cave.

«"Do you know why this page is empty?"»

Ayaan answered,

«"No."»

The voice replied,

«"Because the final chapter of this book is not written by anyone else... it is written by you."»

Confused, Ayaan asked,

«"What should I write?"»

The voice answered,

«"Every person writes their own Journey of Truth through the choices they make in life. This book is never truly finished. Its final page remains blank for every soul seeking the Truth."»

In that moment, Ayaan finally understood.

The greatest treasure was never a hidden secret or magical power.

It was faith.

It was sincerity.

It was patience.

It was righteous deeds.

As the sun rose over the desert and filled the valley with light, Ayaan closed the book and smiled.

«"The journey has not ended... the real journey of life begins now."»

Holding the book close, he returned to his people, determined to spread truth, hope, kindness, and the message of Allah.

The End... or perhaps, only the beginning of another journey.
