Poetry in the Dreamtime

Summary

It's a concept. It is honestly poems that I decided to write when I was tired and was suppose to go to sleep. The only thing that these poems have in common is I was suppose to be sleeping, and I wrote poems that make no sense.

D(eath)

I flirted with Death,

And he flirted with me,

He was a long lost lover,

That I couldn't see.

Every night and every day,

I could feel a stare,

From there to here,

To anywhere.

He temps me with waterfalls,

Bridges and gates,

To jump into his arms,

To combine our fates.

Every tear I cried,

He matched with rain,

Every thought I had,

He matched with pain.

He is waiting for me,

Counting day by day,

But until my dying breath,

In life I will stay.
