For three months, I focused only on my work. I arrived on time, completed every task with dedication, and left the office without getting involved in unnecessary conversations. Ethan often teased me, flirted playfully, and tried to make me smile, but I always ignored his attempts and remained professional.
One evening, he assigned me extra work that kept me in the office until eight o'clock. By the time I finished, every employee had already left. Unaware that Ethan was still inside the building, I walked into his office to place the completed file on his desk before leaving.
