Chapter 1
As I'm running, I stumble over a tree root. Since I'm strong, I make myself get up and keep running. If I stop, I could die.
I should probably introduce myself. My name is Rowan Diamond, and I'm a princess. The problem with that is that I'm nothing like one. I'm a bit of a troublemaker. It's kinda fun being wanted in so many places.
Anyway, this time I'm running from werewolves. Yup, the human to wolf kind. I could kill them myself, but they trained my werewolf sister to hunt me down. Only when she's a wolf though. I am not about to kill her. She means the world to me.
My sister is 2 months older than me. Angel and I are both 15. Her birthday is in a few days, but like every other year, I will probably be serving a sentence in jail.
Yeah, jail. I'm too dangerous for juvy, so they put me with adults in jail. I'm even worse than them! I steal from houses, charities, I kill people, and I even shot at the po-po! (police)
Anyway, back to the story
I look behind me and see that the wolves are way behind me, so I climb the nearest tree. As I'm climbing, my foot slips, so I clutch onto where I'm holding onto with my hands, and pull myself up. I've done stuff like this for awhile now. (parkour XD)
I watch the wolves pass by me below. Trying not to laugh, I make a quiet snort. I don't think anybody heard me. Obviously I'm wrong.
"Did you hear that? Was that her?" I hear the alpha wolf say.
"Nope," I say in my head so I won't be found. This kind of stuff gives me a lot of adrenaline. My sister hates me for that.
