"There’s something quietly beautiful about this story. It doesn’t feel like a typical love story. it feels more like reading someone’s thoughts as they slowly learn how to let go. I loved how the emotions were expressed through poems and little memories instead of being forced into a confession. The ending especially felt bittersweet, like finally closing a chapter that meant so much. John may have been just one person, but the feelings and memories written about him made the story feel incredibly personal and relatable. A beautiful read for anyone who has ever cared for someone quietly."
