Summary

Kelly Noctis has only one goal—to save her dying mother. Hidden from the supernatural world since childhood, Kelly never knew why her mother protected her with powerful magic or why her blood had to remain a secret. Desperate for money, she accepts a job as a maid at the mysterious Ashcroft Manor, home to one of the oldest vampire families. There, she unknowingly awakens Lucien Draven Ashcroft, the eldest heir who has been trapped in an eternal cursed sleep for years. From the moment Lucien opens his icy blue eyes, he feels an unexplainable connection to the young woman standing before him. A familiar scent. A forgotten promise. A memory just beyond his reach. What Kelly doesn't know is that they have already met before. Years ago, Lucien secretly protected her, becoming the silent guardian of a lonely little girl. But to save her life, Kelly's mother erased every memory of him and made the world believe her daughter had died in a fire. Now, destiny has brought them together once again. As forgotten memories begin to resurface, an ancient Blood Moon Curse awakens, and enemies long thought to be gone return from the shadows. Kelly must uncover the truth behind her mysterious blood before history repeats itself. Some memories can be erased. Some destinies cannot. And some love... will survive even centuries of darkness. 🖤 🖤 Author’s Note 🖤 The Ashcroft Bloodbound is an original story created from my own imagination, ideas, and creativity. PROLOGUE

The Blood That Was Never Meant To Exist

That night, the world of vampires and witches changed forever.

In a small house hidden away from human eyes, a baby girl was born.

A soft cry filled the room surrounded by candlelight and ancient magical symbols. Selene Noctis held her daughter in her arms, tears falling silently from her eyes.

She knew...

This child was not like the others.

The blood flowing through her tiny body carried something that the supernatural world had been waiting for.

Something powerful enough to change the balance between vampires and witches.

"Kelly..." Selene whispered softly.

That was the name she gave her daughter.

But their happiness did not last long.

Not long after, an ancient vampire arrived at their doorstep.

Lord Alaric Ashcroft.

The oldest and most powerful vampire of the Ashcroft family.

His eyes fell upon the baby in Selene's arms.

"The prophecy was true."

Selene stepped forward, protecting her daughter.

"She belongs to no one."

Alaric remained silent.

Because he knew...

One day, fate itself would bring the girl back to the Ashcroft family.

A promise was made.

As long as Kelly remained young, the Ashcroft family would not search for her.

But when the right time came...

The secret of her blood would return to them.

---

Years later...

Little Kelly walked alone near the river.

She did not know that someone was watching her from the shadows.

A group of witches had discovered an ancient prophecy.

"The girl will become the destined partner of a vampire heir."

"She will change the future of our world."

Fear turned into hatred.

And Kelly, a child who understood nothing, became their target.

She did not understand why they hated her.

She only knew one thing...

She wanted to go home to her mother.

But that night, the dark river almost became her final destination.

Until someone arrived.

A young boy stood by the riverbank.

His face looked young.

But his eyes carried the loneliness of someone who had lived for centuries.

Lucien Draven Ashcroft.

A vampire.

Without hesitation, he entered the water and saved the little girl.

"Why... did you save me?"

Kelly's weak voice was barely audible.

Lucien was silent.

Even he did not know the answer.

But when he looked into the girl's eyes...

He felt something he could not explain.

As if they had met before.

As if fate had already known them long before they knew each other.

"Because your story is not supposed to end here."

Those were the last words Kelly heard before darkness took over.

When she opened her eyes again...

Lucien was gone.

And the memory of that night slowly faded with time.

---

Ten years passed.

Kelly Noctis no longer remembered the vampire who once saved her life. She was only a girl trying to save her mother.

She did not know...

That the world she had been trying to escape from...

Was waiting for her return.

And inside a grand mansion hidden deep within the forest...

A vampire named Lucien Draven Ashcroft still remembered the little girl he had saved.

Because for humans...

Ten years was a long time.

But for vampires...

It was only a moment.

And their destiny had only just begun.
