You're Enough
In stillness I sit,
My heart not right,
A burden I cannot shake.
Still in that quiet room,
Lies a reflection of Someone
My heart could never forget,
One Being,
Whose love remains eternal.
An unmatched sacrifice,
The one He made,
Draws me deeper still.
I rest within His love,
An undying love that never fails.
And I meditate on His power,
On His authority.
Slowly, that silent burden
Fades away on its own.
It is more than the mind can grasp,
More than the heart can fathom,
More than enough.
My heart whispers to itself,
"He's enough."
And that truth has kept these weakened bones moving,
Has kept a broken heart smiling.
Knowing He is enough
Is enough to keep me going.
