Chapter 1
In a dark room, a woman mutters, trying to control her emotions. Behind her, her servant, whose name is Lia, comes to see her. Lia was very worried about her lady, she had been with her for about 12 years.
" I feel like killing myself. Is this my life? Will I always be insulted like this? Will my mother and father ever even try to support me? Lia, is this my value in my house?" She said.
"My lady, I don't think you should think like this. I know Your Highness did not behave well with you, but I have a suggestion. Your bloodline is very strong. You should face everyone without hesitation." Lia said.
"I, Novalee-D-Red, will learn to stand up for myself from today. I cannot see myself being disrespected. I will have to become powerful for myself. I will have to become a power for myself." Nova said.
Lia is happy to hear Nova's words because she wanted to tell this to her lady much earlier but could not say it, but today when she heard her lady talking about killing herself, she could not control herself. After preparing Nova's bath, Lia told her to take a bath and went to prepare dinner. When she arrived, she found Nova on her bed, lying on her wet hair.
"My lady, you will feel cold, please let me dry your hair." Lia said.
"Lia, why you treat me the most nicely while I don't do anything for you." Nova said.
"I like you, I have chosen you myself, I will spend my entire life serving you and I also know that you are very kind at heart, you will never let anything wrong happen to me, my lady." Lia Said.
Nova had always loved seeing Lia smile, but today she felt so guilty that her idea of killing herself was truly foolish. Because she had a very dear servant who loves her like a mother but gave her advice like a sister.
"Lia, can you start calling me Nova from today?" Nova said.
The hairbrush fell from Lia's hands, She was shocked to learn what the punishment is for addressing a member of the Royal Family member by name. A wave of fear passed through her eyes, causing her body to temporarily stop moving.
Nova, looking into her eyes, understood what Lia was thinking. At first, she felt a little sorry, but then an idea struck her. She said to her while taking both of Lia's hands in his hands, "When it's just you and me, then you will call me by my name, right?"
Lia had tears in her eyes. She knew her lady loves her from the heart. Wiping her tears, she nodded her head in agreement.
