Chapter 1: Las Vegas

Zak Bagans, a paranormal investigator and museum owner. Always expecting the most from his personal demons and less expecting love at first glance. He wanders around his museum in Las Vegas. The building holds precious artifacts, possessions and the most haunted things to be had in one building. Artifacts said to haunt ones soul if touched or even looked at. In his world these were treasures. More than any ghost hunter could want, but he knew he was missing something. Him and on again off again girlfriend just broke up in March, things were spread like wild fire between him and her. Accusations of his ways and such, and still he craved more than just what he had. Yes he had his museum, his artifacts, his family, his crew, his friends. But he was tired of coming home to a large, empty house.
Suddenly his phone gets a notification and he looks at it. He sees he’s been tagged in a social media post and he hesitates for a moment and presses it. To his surprise he finds a beautiful young woman in her late 20′s tagging him in her photo post. He stared hard at the photo.... Longer than expected... And for a slight moment he smiles a little taking in her features. “She’s beautiful, stunning.. God damn...” He says to himself.... Or so he thought. Aaron immediately pops up staring over his shoulder eating candy like a child. “Who’s that man?” He ask. Zak immediately jumps closing his phone quickly. “No one. Just some fan tagging.” Aaron looks at him analyzing his face, he knows that look. He knows it well. “Oh my God... You like a fan!” Zak shakes it off “Like hell I do.” He states knowing damn well he has already falling hard. “Are you sure because it seems like-” Aaron playfully stated before Zak cut him off. “She’s a fan, that’s it. We know the rules about fans, she’s cute. But no” Zak stated plainly and firmly. “And stop eating that damn candy, you’re always eating it.” Zak smirked. Aaron chuckles “Alright man calm down, I got ya. But you know-” Zak looked at Aaron “Do not even finish that Aaron.” With that Zak walked away from where he was, leaving Aaron in crumbs and smirking like a damn idiot.
