Chapter 1: The First Memory
At 7:13 in the morning, the world changed.
No one saw it coming.
There was no warning in the sky, no strange sound, no sign that something impossible was about to happen. People were doing what they always did: waking up, making breakfast, rushing to work, walking to school.
It was just an ordinary morning.
Until millions of people stopped at the same time.
Not because they saw something.
Because they remembered something.
Lina opened her eyes with tears on her face.
She didn’t understand why she was crying. Her room looked exactly the same as always. The sunlight came through the window, her phone was on the table, and everything around her was normal.
But she felt a pain that did not belong to her.
A memory appeared in her mind.
A place she had never visited.
A voice she had never heard.
A woman she had never met.
Lina could see her clearly. She could feel her sadness, her fear, and a strange hope hidden behind her tears.
Then the memory disappeared.
Lina sat up, confused.
“Who are you?” she whispered.
She had no answer.
Only a feeling.
A feeling that something had happened to the entire world.
And that whatever everyone had remembered…
was only the beginning.
