"The author was well endowned with imagery and skills to keep your reading, page after page. Addictive, almost like virtual reality. Although I wish the last plot would have been longer, perhaps by injecting some of the protagonist's twisted thoughts and a show of vengeance. Perhaps punctuate it with the antagonist's rebellion and psychopathic comments. Impressive build up though."

"The plot and characters were extremely intriguing, even though it wasn't a "who done it" it still kept me hooked, I enjoyed a detective who "quit the bottle" even though the ending was a meh. However the story has some very obvious flaws for example most of the cast is Muslim, even unrelated people like the police therapist, all of these characters seem Muslim in name only there was no person that was religious/not into premarital sex etc. And all of the Indian characters kept saying "jee" with English as a second language it's obvious some words will be my mixed but all of the characters seem to use the same speaking patterns and seem to switch to Hindi even when taking to non indians. Seems like the author has based most if the characters on his experience and his experience only. Their is no point in ANY of characters (except Vic 1's ex) being Muslim they could easily be christians or agnostics, it seems like a pointless detail."
