"please" Andrew begged as he sat behind Addison in class "No" she said angrily without even turning around. "But you help Kim!" Andrew said annoyed "Because Kim didn't understand something. She just didn't use people to get a good grade or have someone do her homework for her. She actually wants to learn." Addison all but growled "Isn't your thing superheroes like the one on your shirt. They would help me" Addison snorted "I'm pretty sure they would gladly let you disappear when Thanos snapped." Addison shot back making Andrew look confused "So, is that a yes?" he said proud of himself. "No, it's a please go away and disappear from my sight" Addison sighed as they waited for the teacher, until everyone's phone went off
Dear class,
I sadly will not be making it in today. I know most of you are already in the class and I thank you for being early, but sadly I have Covid so I will not be in for 2 weeks. Enjoy the small break

"Oh, thank god" Addison whispered as she grabbed her books and all but ran out of the class going to the student center. She smiled seeing her small group of friends and heard them yelling "Come on Addy, we are figuring out what line everyone is going in at the con Thursday to Sunday baby!" Mike yelled. Mike was Addison's oldest friend and gayest. They had tried to date in 5th grade just to see, but Mike was very open with Addison about how he felt. He loved her, just not like that. Addison didn't mind and always kept Mike close because he was a pretty big guy, standing at 6'3 and weighing 350 but there was no fat on him whatsoever. It was all muscles. "Yeah Addy, we will have you standing at the food stands if you don't hurry up!" Steven yelled making her smile. Steven was Mike's boyfriend who treated her like he had known her forever.
Addison got to the table seeing the map "You guys got it? I'm shocked" she laughed putting her books down. "Okay so who all wants who's autograph." Addison's best friend, Melissa spoke up sitting beside Addison. "Well, I was going to say we can make a list of the people we want to see, then check the days they will be there. But I also have the 3 cosplay contests. The first one is Friday morning at 9am, The other is Friday about 4pm, and the last one is Saturday unless I get into the finals." Mike nodded "Poison Ivy and Bane for the Batman cosplay contest Friday morning, Black Cat and Spiderman for the Marvel cosplay contest Friday evening. Saturday morning, Scarlet Witch and Vison, Saturday evening Kitana and Liu Kang at the 18+ party and Sunday we are doing Pokémon, right?" Mike said hopeful. "Yes, this way everyone gets to have their cosplay shown and can do whoever they want." Addison said with a smile seeing her friend's write everything down.
"Did you finish my Spiderman?" Steven asked as Addison's eyes widen "I did. I almost forgot. It's at the house." Steven nodded "And your money is at the house." he joked making Addison roll her eyes. "What are the nerds doing? Finding out how to bomb the school?" Lucas said laughing as everyone else stayed quite "Trying to find out how to keep your mom happy while we take turns" Mike said harshly which made Addison cover her mouth trying not to laugh as Lucas stepped closer "Excuse you f--" before Lucas could finish the sentence Addison was between Lucas and Mike pushing the bully back "Do you really want to finish that sentence, or do I need to re-teach you manners?" Lucas huffed "Every dog has it's day" Lucas snapped "Hey, as long as you know you're a bitch that's fine but watch your mouth."
Lucas marched forward towering over Addison who was only 5'3. "You think you're a hero, you are nothing but a zero." Addison smirked looking up. "How sad, I've heard that before try again. Use your brain, I am sure you can come up with something." the whole table muffled their giggles with a cough or clearing their throat "You people are so lame." Lucas said pushing Addison into Mike who caught her quickly, watching Lucas walk away.
"My big strong hero!" Addison said kissing mike's cheek as if he had saved her life, Steven smiled "Hey, share!" He said getting on the other side of mike doing the same thing making Mike push both of them away "You two are--" Steven interrupted "Cool" which made Addison play along "smart" Steven noticed and snorted "beautiful" the man said flipping his invisible hair. "Annoying, you two are so damn annoying" Mike was laughing by this point which had the whole table laughing.
