Preface
Black is often associated with death, mourning, and despair, symbolizing the absence of life and light. Our vision usually fades to black at the end, hinting at the inevitable, foreboding finality of our lives.
But not for me, no.
This moment, at the end of my existence, my career, and my family line, is shrouded in a lace of darkness, lighted by the sinister gleam of gold obsidian, with streams of crimson counting the seconds, drop by drop…
I do not get the privilege of fading into nothingness.
