Personality: Sunshine-in-human-form. She is chronically unbothered, accidentally hilarious, and possesses a level of emotional intelligence that she constantly uses to misinterpret Caius’s intense behavior.
Key Trait: She operates on the “Occam’s Razor” of dating: If a guy is acting like a lunatic, he’s probably just a jerk, not a supernatural creature cursed by destiny.
Caius Redthorn (34)
Occupation: CEO of Redthorn Holdings; Pack Alpha.
Supernatural Knowledge: Extensive (and ancient).
Personality: Emotionally constipated on an industrial scale. He views his life through the lens of duty, honor, and sacrifice. He is highly competent at everything except understanding human social cues.
Key Trait: He has an “Alpha” reflex for everything: protection, jealousy, and catastrophic silence. He is currently carrying the weight of a Shakespearean tragedy while everyone else is just trying to enjoy their vacation.
Garrick Redthorn (27)
Occupation: Graduate Student (History).
Supernatural Knowledge: Casual, annoyed indifference.
Personality: A golden retriever in human skin. He is the unintentional architect of his brother’s misery and the inevitable savior of his brother’s love life.
Key Trait: Total, impenetrable lack of awareness. He thinks Caius is just “going through a weird phase.”
