Summary

This book is a compilation of stories I started and didn't finish. I found an old folder on my computer of unfinished stories I wrote back from 2011 to 2016. A mix of started stories, fantasy, sci-fi, a few 20th Century setting. Most have romance aspects, language, adult themes, violence, and a few have LGBTQ+ themes. I'll make notes of this in the chapter notes for each chapter. Also, I know the grammar needs work. As of now, I am not planning on continuing these stories. If I do in the future, I will talk them out of here. Each chapter is a new story.

She Captian

She shifted, the sheets rusting gently, she opened her eyes a little. Closing them again she rubbed her eyes. *So…damn bright…* Thinking to herself. She rolled over and bam she found herself on the floor. “Damn it…” She mumbled to herself and rubbed her head and messy hair.

“Watch the edge it sneaks up on you,” a tall, buff black man stood arms crossed leaning against the door frame. The woman on the ground rolled her eyes, seemingly still half a sleep. The over sized t-shirt she wore hung off one shoulder and showed off a tribal tattoo on her right shoulder, neck and arm. Her curly dark red hair was all over the place. She grabbed the handle next to the bed and pulled herself up sitting on her bed again, one leg up on the bed bent in front of her, the other dangling just above the ground.

“Aren’t you supposed to be on watch?” She asked the man still half asleep, glaring at him one eyebrow raised.

The black man smiled, the smile wrinkling the scar over his right cheek which started at his chin and went to his ear, “Derek said I should probably get you up. You don’t want to sleep through the whole day, do you Captain?”

She blew an unruly curl out of her face and rubbed her eyes, “I suppose we have to get in touch with Base to see if we have a new job.” She aimlessly scratched the top of her right thigh. Since she wasn’t wearing any pants just simple black boy shorts, her curvy, but well defined muscled legs showed. Waving him out as she started speaking, rubbing her head with the other hand, “Go, go I’ll be out in a few.”

The large man smiled and nodded his head, with that he turned and walked off. She sat on the edge of the bed for a moment and then stood and walked to the small bathroom connected to her room. The bathroom had a little shower, fitting one comfortably, a toilet, a small sink with a small cabinet below and another small cabinet to the left of the sink just to the left of toilet that sat about eye level. She looked at herself in the mirror, her hair obviously a mess, she still looked tired and then the scar over her right eye. The scar started at her hair line and ended about an inch and a half below her eye. The weapon had cut her eye enough to where she was totally blind in that eye. She shook her head lightly and turned the sink on. Washing up and managing to get her hair in a loose braid down her back, curls still escaping form the braid, framing her bold face, high cheek bones, full lips and deep green eyes.

Walking back into her room, the room was rather small too, but big enough for her. The bed was to her right, there was a window the length of the bed and to the ceiling, the sun of the day shining through. In front of her and to the left of the bed is a large cabinet and drawers, built into the wall. She opened the doors and pulled out a light material bodysuit with no sleeves, zipping it up the front to the middle of her breasts. She didn’t have a large chest, but enough that there was a little cleavage. She pulled her knee high boots over the suit and zipped them up, the boots had a flat bottom, with grips along the bottom. Turning to her left the door to her room next to that a small closest, to the left of the door was and assortment of weapons of the wall. She slid the knives into the boots, and put her thigh holsters on. She pulled her vest on, which had an assortment of pockets that had basically anything she’d need on hand. She grabbed a black gun from one of the drawers under the displayed guns and grabbed the sliver gun from under her pillow. Both guns looked well used and beat up some. She slipped a clip in both guns cocking them and putting them into the holsters. One last look out the window onto the green of the jungle, grabbing her eye patch off the bed, she put it on and turned and headed out the door.

The ship she walked through wasn’t the prettiest thing, but it was home for her and her team when on a mission away from home. She walked into the front most part of the ship, there was the pilot controls and a round table top that built and image of the area they were going into and what they may be retrieving or eliminating, there were two gunner stations on either side of the pilots seat. The room wasn’t very big, but it was one of the largest rooms on the ship. The ship it’s self wasn’t the smallest ever but it wasn’t the largest either. There were six small rooms, the captains was the biggest, three bathrooms on the ship, the main part of the ship, and then hanger for the two vehicles, both fit six people, One was a combat vehicle and looked much like the old hummers, the other was much simpler, it looked a lot like the SUV vehicles that used to be around. The main part of the ship was the foremost, then the rooms and bathrooms, then hanger for the vehicles. Making the ship longer then it was wide.

The world was more advanced, but with the nuclear wars that happened about 200 years ago wiped out much of the known world at the time. The world changed and much of it became uninhabitable. After the war the cultures advanced quickly. In the 2000’s we imagined what the world be like in X amount of years. Well all the ideas that came up basically happened, but it wasn’t all new technology much of the new technology built coexists with the old technology. The world was separated into territories ruled but someone or a group. There were no countries anymore. Many cultures mixed with other cultures, people started to coexist, realizing they needed to work with one another to survive. That didn’t mean that everything was peaceful. People still are always looking for more power, more land and more people to rule.

Some people physically changed. The idea of the supernatural was looking humans in the face. The idea of a vampire, or a lycan wasn’t out of reach. Because of the nuclear war some people exposed to that changed physically, gaining abilities. Others became creatures, no human mind, more of an animal, these were usually killed on site, since there is so little known. The other people’s abilities ranged form some kind of physical change, to acute senses and advanced mind. Any number of things happened. Many human’s didn’t like this and have ganged up against the “Others” as the humans have decided to call anything that is not human.

Many of the vehicles and other things that needed power worked off solar now, while the sun was up. Most vehicles, and ships run like a hovercraft, but uses electrical currents to stay up and move forward, both kinds of transportation have pad like things on them, while on the pads light up with a blue light, this light sparks the electrical currents in the air and move the vehicle forward. The ships have these pads not only on the part of the ship that could generally be close to the ground, but placed all over in appropriate spots, helping with collision in small spaces, the pads kind of work as a buffer, against close objects, though it was still about how good a driver you were. The ships can actually fly, but generally do not, it’s much faster and efficient to just move across the ground.

Walking into the main part of the ship Derek their pilot, inclined his head as a greeting, she did the same back. Derek stood his brown eyes watching the red head. He was rather average standing about six foot, slightly muscled, dark brown hair. He was one of the two full humans in the group. She looked over on of the screens for contact from Base.

“Where is the rest of my crew?!” She spoke over the intercom, her voice sounding through the entire ship.

Derek crossed his arms and leaned against the pilot’s chair, as the big black guy, and a petite spiky blonde walked in.

“Sorry Captain,” The black man spoke, his large frame taking up the doorway.

“Well we have to make a patrol of the eastern area, the area where Douglas used to control,” the red headed captain spoke arms crossed over her chest.

“Come on you know we’re better then that!” The blonde stepped forward arms thrown in front of her out of irritation.

“Well now that were a crew member short or two short, we get the shit patrols until we have a new person. Is that okay with you Rayne?” She looked at the five foot two inch blonde, her eyes asking, “Are we done now with the hissy fit?”

Rayne sighed and stepped back but said nothing arms crossed over her chest. She was the group’s mechanic and she was very good at what she did, she was the other human of the group.

They had had another group member who was a human, he was new to the organization right out of training and cocky as he was he tried to push Rayne quite literally into having sexual relations. Well needless to say she beat the shit out of him and he was asked to leave. Rayne also had no interest in men, as she was a lesbian, and had a partner back home.

“So to the east area, Derek,” the red head said looking at the pilot.

Derek sat and took over controls. They made quick time getting to the east area which used to be ruled by a drug lord named Douglas. A scarier name may have had him last longer. He wasn’t a ruler for a very long time, though he did bring a new drug out into the open, people called it D. It’s a lot like heroin, but it’s a lot stronger and messes you up way faster. Unfortunately they didn’t know a lot about it. It was still so new, and someone now had their hands on it who was a better secret keeper them Douglas had been.

They made a pass over the small town there. Much of the territories where build of stone and metal. The places where people lived where more like stripe malls, or apartments. This area was without a ruler for now anyway. Portal was actually more dangerous then other things as one never knew what people would do. There had been a few instances where the ships actually had been blown up by the territories people, or at the leaders bidding, they still don’t know. They circled the main passes and were about to head off back home, when the captain looked out one of the dirty windows.

“Cal what are they doing there?” The captain pointed, “Under that bridge.”

The black man looked out the window, “Looks like a drug deal,” he paused, “I don’t recognize the vial’s though.”

“What do they look like?”

“About and inch long, plastic clear tops and a sliver, bluish liquid,” Calaway said.

“Derek keep her in the air, and get the hell out of here if I give the signal,” the red head spoke, her voice firm.

Derek nodded.

“Cal you stay, Rayne let’s go.” The both woman grabbed one of the military issued guns, that looked a lot like old semi automatic rifles, but they were lighter, and looked sleeker then the ones before the 2000”s they also had new small added features. Rayne knew how to handle herself with in hand to hand combat and was a decent shot.

Derek got them so close to the ground they practically stepped off the ship. They moved quickly towards the bridge, the people in the alley moving out of their way. Both women wore helmets and goggles that adjusted to better sight, light and dark, distance and an x-ray of sorts. They both wore the same kind of tight suit and both wore something like a bullet proof vest though they weren’t heavy or bulky as they once were. They walked closer to the group the red head in the lead.

“Set it down and you can go,” The captain spoke gun raised.

The small group of men flinched and looked nervously at the women, though the captain didn’t see the leader, but guessed he was around here. Testing the grounds.

“I said set it down and you can go.” Derek brought the ship around and turned the spot light on, it lit up darkness under the bridge.

Panicking the men brought their guns out, aiming at both women.

“Put them down and we won’t shoot!” The captain aiming her gun firmly, as did Rayne.

One man panicking he starts firing randomly everywhere, people screamed and scattered as did the men. The red head started firing, aiming at the men that had scattered, only hitting the men who shot at them.

Only a few dead she looked for Rayne. She wasn’t there next to her where sh should have been, then she saw her body laying a few yards behind her. She found her on the ground, still breathing, but shot a few times, noting that she hadn’t fastened the vest, therefore leaving some of her body open.

“Shit,” she placed her hand to her ear. “Derek bring it down, Cal come get Rayne she’s shot.” The red head knelt down, “You’ll be okay, stay with me.”

Rayne looked at her, wide eyed, trying not to move. “I fucked…u...up…”

The red head shook her head, “You did good, now stop talking.”

Calaway came and picked her up as the captain took her gun and picked up Rayne’s, a semi automatic in each hand, up and ready, making sure no one was going to be stupid. Everyone watched but didn’t move. Cal got Rayne into the ship and took the guns form the captain who now had her back turned to the people. Suddenly a man came up behind her and stabbing her with a needle in the neck, on reflex she pulled him over her head and slammed him onto the ground on his back, knocking the wind out of him, she was kneeling from finishing the movement, pulling the needle out she tossed it on the ground.

“Shit…” She had no idea what had had stuck her with. She stood and fell to her knee again. The people started to move in on her, the man who had stuck her still on the ground, she had his arm in an odd position, easy for her to snap his wrist still, he didn’t move.

“Let’s go!” Cal yelled only about 10 feet from her, again she tried to stand and couldn’t.

“Get her out of here now!” The red head yelled. Calaway looked at her eyes concerned and back up hopped into the ship and closed the door. The ship sped off heading for home, to take care for Rayne.

The red head kneeling in the dirt, trying to focus on something as her mind turned.

“What the hell did you give me?!” She spoke loudly and clearly. She took her helmet off and her vision blurred and she felt light headed. She closed her eyes trying to get her bearings.

The man she had slammed into the ground was snickering now he tired to get up and tried to move away from her, she jerked his arm, he winced and stayed put, moving his arm and a way for he was on his back face up, she put one knee on his chest slipped a knife out of her boot and placed it very close to his eye. He immediately was quiet. Here eyes up and moving trying to get a better grip on what was actually going on, since then world as she knew it was spinning slowly and the colors had changed.

“What did you give me?” She asked him, as he started to squirm, but she held him good.

“If don’t stop moving I might accidentally get your eye,” she said and he stopped moving, “What did you give me?” He still said nothing. She blinked rapidly as he vision got worse. He used her disadvantage to buck and twist out of her grip, and pulled on his wrist and popped that before he pulled fully away. Before he got to far away and since he was yelling now about his wrist, she used her senses to find him, slamming the thin blade into him eye. His body dropped hard to the ground. Standing wobbly, she closed her eyes and tried to listen instead. The light headedness had only gotten worse, people muttering in the background, sounding like they were coming from everywhere.

“So, am I still going to get silence? Or is someone going to tell me what the fuck he gave me!” Her hearing was fluctuating now a little too, she forced herself to listen, hearing movement she blocked the first and second man but not the third, he caught her in the stomach with the firm kick. She fell back and rolled back so she was now kneeling, her whole body humming now it was unlike anything she had experienced. Hearing more movement, she moved to dodge and block and again missed one, another kick, but this time to her face. Her body turned with the force of the kick and she spit blood onto to the ground once she was kneeling again. Still kneeling there, foot steps circling her, but this time they weren’t from an amateur, this person deliberately placed his foot falls. She listened and blocked the first few attempts, backing off the person again started to circle. She stood wobbly and listened the best she could. Again the person came at her surprising her by moving her backwards she barely stayed on her feet. Just managing to, she was met with a blade under her chin, she stopped moving and waited. Feeling hot breath on her neck. She moved as fast as she could using her arm to catch the blade side, feeling a sharp pain, knowing she cut herself, she turns the blade and shoves it towards the figure she feels it pierce flesh and only hears a hushed grunt. The figure moved back and she let go the blade go, and tried to stay standing.

The figure pulled the blade out and circled her again, her hearing was getting worse, but she listen hard trying to hear movement. The person moved towards her, but faked and stabbed her low by her hip where the vest didn’t reach, she tried to grab the hand around the blade, but no luck, he pulled away. She took a few steps back, falling to one knee she put her hand on the hole, the blade had gone in deep about a four or five inch blade, she guessed, by the feel, warm blood poured down her pelvic area, and right thigh and she vaguely smelt blood. The light headed feeling was constant but was worse mixed with the pain, though oddly she felt numb. The person came up to her again but she had lost it now, her hearing very faint. She was helpless and even with that feeling there and still felt oddly numb. Then the sensations were heightened, but she could do nothing not even yell or scream. The pain overwhelmed and then she felt the blade in her shoulder, pain shooting through her shoulder, moving to every inch of her body. The drug intensifying the pain ten fold.

She felt herself hit the ground, but felt like she was floating, the drug totally taking over. Faintly she heard fighting, and then all she felt like she was flying, but couldn’t hear or see anything.

After what seemed like forever in her mind prison, and must had black out some where along the way, she now felt a cold floor under her, but felt again like she was floating. The feeling of hands on her she couldn’t move, then the smell of cinnamon, musk and earth, then nothing.

She woke to the pain in her body. Sitting up and reaching for her hand guns that were suppose to be at her thighs, neither of which were there. She looked around seeing her guns and vest lying next to her. Then the wave of pain hit her head, after effects from the drug she assumed, her vision was a bit better but her mind was still foggy. She put a hand instinctively to her right shoulder, and hip wound her fingers to feel, bandages.

“It went in pretty deep but didn’t hit any organs, I’m pretty sure, and you needed stitches,” The man’s voice came form above she grabbed both guns instantly, pointing towards the sound, but not really seeing clearly yet.

“Relax if I wanted you dead you would be. In the state you were in it would have been easy. And you don’t what the pull your stitches.” She tried to stand and just about fell over once she was up. Feeling and arm around her, her eyes flashed open one gun pressed at the man’s temple, he was now holding her upright, as she slowly started to see better, her good eye trying to focus, her body humming from the drug under his touch, it felt sensual.

“That’s no way the treat your host.” His bright sliver eyes had only a tiny black pupil. Her body objecting to the position, she only showed it little.

“Who are you? You can let me go I’m fine.” The red head said, the man shrugged a bit and let her go gently. Eyeing her making sure she would stay standing

“Jayson, It’s nice to meet you.” He held a hand out for her. She looked at his hand then at him, he was about six foot three, athletic build, fit, he had short jet black hair, and a rough shave. Scars covered what she could see.

“Are you going to put those down and shake my hand?” He looked at her, curious about her. She stuck one gun back into her thigh holster and took the other gun in her left hand and shook his rough, callused hand with her right.

“Djin. How did I get here and what the hell happened?” She placed the other gun in the holster and used the wall for support.

“Well from what I gathered you were fighting and I must say for being injected with that new shit I’m surprised you stayed fighting that long. But anyways, you fought this Asian guy, you got him pretty good and then I grabbed you before he killed you.” The man sat down in the chair that was close to the bed.

“Sit please,” the man offered his hand to her to help her sit. She didn’t take his hand, but used the wall for support and sat leaning against the wall.

Jayson dropped his hand, not taking it personally. She seemed like the kind of person who didn’t trust real easy.

She looked around the room, it wasn’t anything special. She looked at him.

“Do you live here?” She asked noting a small table, the bed she was sitting next too, two chairs, and a small dresser the door out into the hall, the bathroom door, and two bags at the foot of the bed. The man shook his head.

“No this is a hotel room,” his eyes watching her as she looked around as if subtly analyzing her surroundings.

They looked at one another, both strong willed look in their eyes, each trying to read the other. Jayson looked away first, he knew she was strong and right now wasn’t willing to see how strong, in her condition or not.

Djin looked away. Her body started humming a little with the pain and drug still in her system. She closed her eyes and leaned her head against the wall.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Immediately her guns pointed to the door, eyes alert. Jayson stood silently going to the door lowering his gun as he opened the door a little, then opening it fully another man walked into the room. This new man was tall and had a slender built, standing about six foot four. He smiled when he saw her up though her guns were pointed at him.

“Feisty, just like I thought,” his voice soft and calm, with a hint of playfulness. The man pulled his long, straight sliver hair into a loose ponytail, flipping the length over onto his back. He gracefully sat in the other chair at the table.

“Put them away I’m not going to do anything to you,” the man waved his hand towards the woman, unconcerned that there was two guns pointed at him. She lowered her guns in her lap, suddenly noting movement. Looking she notice the slender man had a long slim silver colored, tail that flicked back and forth idly like a cat’s. She looked at him, tried not to look interested.

“You’re a demon,” the red head spoke to the sliver haired man. He looked at her and smoothed out his clothes, which was a simple dark grey tunic, the shirt coming to his mid thigh, the pants just above the ground, with simple flat slip-ons for shoes, very Japanese style and nodded.

“And you are a mixture of things no?” The man’s all black eyes looking at her watching her.

She nodded, but said nothing.

Jayson looked between them, “You’ve met me but not my acquaintance. Djin this is Eon. Eon, Djin.”

The two inclined heads to one another. Then Djin looked at Jayson, “Any more acquaintances?”
