Chapter 1
CHAPTER 1 : BIRTH OF THE SACRED REALM
The young maiden, dressed in a flowing gown that shimmered like polished white crystal, sprinted across the ethereal landscape. Her footsteps barely disturbed the tranquil stream as she reached a tiny patch of land nestled at its heart. Bending over with a hand pressed against her chest, she struggled to catch her breath before speaking.
“Superior Deity... I-I...”
Standing before her was a radiant figure cloaked in immaculate white robes, his very presence glowing with an otherworldly brilliance. He had sensed her arrival long before she reached him. Without uttering a single word, he merely turned his head slightly, his calm gaze settling upon the elf-like maiden.
The moment their eyes met, she hastily continued.
“Superior Deity, all of the Lords have already gathered in the Azure Hall. They believe... the Cycle of Fate is about to begin.”
She swallowed hard before adding,
“They all say that time has finally run out. The Wheel of Time has begun to turn once again. Yet no one knows whether what awaits us will be an age of prosperity... or an era of ruin.”
Her voice grew quieter, almost trembling.
“No one can stop the flow of time. Fate has already been written. All that remains... is to wait.”
She lowered her head respectfully.
“They are awaiting your presence, Superior Deity.”
No sooner had the maiden finished speaking than the Superior Deity began to move.
His figure drifted forward as effortlessly as ripples gliding across the surface of a tranquil lake, leaving behind not the slightest disturbance. His graceful gait was so mesmerizing that even the other deities were often deceived, unable to tell whether he was truly walking... or simply flowing with the currents of existence itself.
Then, his calm, melodic voice echoed through the serene landscape.
“Summon everyone... except the Ruin Deity.”
The words had barely faded into silence when his radiant figure dissolved into countless shimmering particles, vanishing without a trace.
The elf-like maiden instinctively reached out, intending to say something, but it was already too late. He was gone.
Meanwhile, within the magnificent Azure Hall, every Lord and every Deity had assembled.
They all understood what the appearance of the Moon Cycle signified. It was no ordinary celestial phenomenon.
Something was about to happen.
An unsettling tension had spread throughout the Heavenly Realm. Uncertainty lingered in every corner, leaving even the immortal beings unsure of what they should—or should not—do. Though they had lived for countless ages, none of them could foresee what destiny had prepared this time.
Then...
Silence descended upon the grand hall.
It was not a silence anyone had chosen.
The moment the Superior Deity stepped through the towering gates, the entire atmosphere shifted. His aura was calm, yet overwhelmingly commanding, carrying an indescribable authority that instinctively compelled every Lord and every Deity to fall silent.
Not a single soul dared to utter another word.
The moment the Superior Deity entered, the vast Azure Hall fell into absolute silence despite being filled with countless Lords and Deities.
Without wasting a single moment, he spoke.
“Now is the time to reconstruct what we once left behind... so that it may be built anew.”
The instant those words echoed through the hall, an uneasy ripple swept through the gathered immortals. Awkward glances were exchanged as whispers threatened to rise, only to die before they could be spoken.
They all understood exactly what he meant.
But none of them could comprehend why now.
Why revive something that had been abandoned so long ago?
A troubling thought quietly settled into every mind.
Did this mean the approaching Moon Cycle and the Fate that accompanied it had nothing to do with mortals... nor even with the Heavenly Realm itself?
Before anyone could find the courage to speak—
Crack.
A sharp, crystalline sound shattered the suffocating silence.
Every gaze snapped toward the Grand Immortal Glass Wall.
A single fracture had appeared across its flawless surface.
For a heartbeat, no one moved.
Disbelief spread through the hall like wildfire.
After countless ages of remaining untouched, the sacred wall had finally reacted...
And it had done so by cracking.
The color drained from the faces of every Lord and every Deity as an indescribable sense of dread settled over the hall.
Every face...
Except one.
The Deities and the assembled Lords stood frozen where they were, their eyes fixed upon the enormous fracture stretching across the Grand Immortal Glass Wall.
This was no ordinary crack.
For two decades, the sacred wall had remained perfectly intact, never showing the slightest sign of change. If it had fractured now...
...then it could only mean that something unimaginably vast awaited the ages yet to come.
Not even the Superior Deity knew what lay beyond the wall’s inevitable collapse.
Would it usher in ruin...
Or would it herald an age of prosperity?
No one possessed the answer.
The hall remained shrouded in an oppressive silence until the Superior Deity finally broke it. His calm, composed voice carried effortlessly through the chamber, steady enough to ease trembling hearts despite the uncertainty surrounding them.
“The time has come.”
His golden eyes swept across the gathering.
“Every Deity, with the exception of the Ruin Deity, will accompany me.”
No one questioned the command.
None dared to.
After a brief pause, the Superior Deity shifted his gaze toward the elf-like maiden, who still stood at the edge of the hall with her head respectfully lowered, waiting quietly for whatever command would come next.
In his calm, composed voice, he gave a single command.
“Go and bring the box we retrieved yesterday from the Lands.”
The maiden bowed without hesitation.
“As you command, Superior Deity.”
Before the final word had fully left her lips, her figure dissolved into shimmering light and disappeared.
A short while later...
The Deities ascended from the Heavenly Realm, gathering high above the endless sea of clouds. Suspended between heaven and eternity, they formed a magnificent circle, their divine auras illuminating the sky itself.
One by one, each Deity stepped forward.
Each offered a fragment of their divine power—some bestowed life, others light, others the essence of the elements, while some sacrificed a portion of their own celestial authority.
Every contribution became another foundation for what was to come.
The birth of a new land...
The Sacred Realm.
Yet a single question lingered in every Lord’s mind.
When the Mortal Realm had been created, the Superior Deity had never forbidden the Ruin Deity from taking part.
So why...
Why had he been excluded this time?
No one dared voice the question aloud.
Once every Deity had completed the grand magical formation, they silently stepped back, leaving the vast celestial array shining brilliantly across the heavens.
Now...
It was the Superior Deity’s turn.
He slowly raised his hands and began whispering an ancient incantation. His voice was soft, melodic, and carried a power that resonated through heaven itself, as though the very laws of creation were answering his call.
When he opened his eyes once more...
The radiant gold within them had transformed into shimmering silver.
In the next instant, the colossal magical formation trembled violently before condensing into a single, boundless land.
A brand-new realm had been born.
Without a word, the Superior Deity lifted the box resting in his hands and extended it toward the newborn land.
The moment several Lords recognized the box...
Their breathing came to an abrupt halt.
Disbelief filled their eyes.
They knew exactly what rested inside it.
