Summary

Prologue In this story, Rudransh and Dhruv are best friends who live in London and run their own companies. After four years, they were finally opening their respective companies' branches in Mumbai, India — which is why they were coming back home. Both families were super rich. There was a wedding — Dhruv's cousin Siya's — and since it was a destination wedding, this was where our leads would first meet. The wedding was being held in Jaipur, at their family mansion, so Dhruv invited Rudransh and his family to attend the wedding and the other functions. Arohi, in turn, invited her best friend Kiara. Dhruv introduced Rudransh and his family to his own family, and the elders connected with him immediately — charmed by his manners and maturity. Dhruv then showed everyone to their respective rooms. By the time Arohi and Kiara arrived, it was already midnight; their flight had been delayed for hours. They crept through the mansion quietly, trying not to wake anyone. The guards recognized Arohi at once and waved them through without question, and a sleepy-eyed servant pointed the girls toward their rooms before shuffling off himself. The mansion was dim and hushed at that hour, lit only by the soft amber glow of hallway sconces. Outside, the Jaipur night air hung warm and still, carrying faint traces of jasmine from the courtyard gardens below. Somewhere in the distance, the last stragglers of the wedding festivities murmured and laughed, but up here, the corridors were silent — thick carpets swallowing every footstep, heavy curtains swaying faintly with the breeze from a half-open window.

About the Leads:

FL Arohi is the sunshine of her family and friends — kind, chaotic, warm-hearted, beautiful as sin, and a feminist. But don’t mistake her kindness for innocence; she’s sassy and puts people in their place if they cross boundaries.

ML Rudransh is disciplined, calm, handsome, masculine, dangerous, rich, and panty-dropping hot. But the first time he saw her, he knew he was addicted, obsessed — he wants her, and what Rudransh Thakur wants, he gets, by hook or by crook.
