"The Last Rule is the story I'm most proud of, not because it's perfect, but because it's the most honest thing I've written. Eve and Liam's enemies-to-lovers/second-chance dynamic carries the whole book — sharp banter and real angst layered under a legal-thriller spine, with the friend group (Emily, Tyler, Dominic especially) keeping the romcom heart alive so the heavier chapters never feel like too much. The constellation/"line" motif between them is the emotional core I care about most, and getting to pay it off in the ending made every slow, hard-to-write chapter worth it. Pacing dips a little in the middle act and there are technical rough edges I'm still sanding down, but every scene was written with intention, and I hope readers feel that more than the flaws!"
