"An amazing start! Raphael is fantastic as a mafia don, and Kyra plays the meek, submissive role remarkably well. Her character transformation was drastic, but necessary—she had to adapt and grow strong to survive in Raphael's world. Expect strong language and plenty of steamy, erotic scenes. While the final chapters felt rushed and ended a bit too abruptly—a more developed conclusion would have worked better—it was overall an enjoyable read that had the potential to be even better...!!"
