Summary

Ashes rained, smoke rose. Crimson rain marked their wedding. Shadows came to light, tears tore apart the heart. Trust that dangled on a rope, and flames that worsened with every passing second. Introduction

Hey everyone! 💖

First of all, thank you so, so much to everyone who’s been a part of this book’s journey. This story has literally travelled from one platform to another over the years, and seeing so many of you still here honestly means the world to me.

I’m also juggling quite a few things in my life right now, so finding time to write hasn’t been easy lately. Some days I barely get the time to sit down and work on the story. Thank you for being so patient with me and for continuing to support me despite the slower updates. It truly means more than you know. 🥹❤️

Secondly, this book is going to stay here until it’s completely finished, and yes, it’ll remain free to read. Just a small disclaimer, though: what you’re reading right now is one of the earlier drafts. That means you might come across grammatical mistakes, typos, or a few things that I’ll eventually edit or change. So please bear with me, and I’m really sorry in advance if you spot any errors. 🥹

Once the book is complete, I’ll announce the final date. After that, only the sample chapters will remain on Inkitt. The complete version will include all the revisions, bonus content, exclusive artwork, pretty designs, and everything else I’ve been working on behind the scenes.

Why aren’t the first and second books here on Inkitt? The main reason is that they have exclusive publishing rights. I’ve tried to keep it on Kindle at an affordable price, and I truly appreciate every single person who’s purchased it. ❤️

I really, really hope you enjoy this final volume of the series. It’s been such a long journey, and I can’t wait for all of you to experience how everything comes together.

Also... I finally got the paperback of the first book, and I don’t even know how to explain the feeling. 🥹 Holding something you’ve worked on for years in your hands just feels so unreal. It honestly hits different when it’s an actual book instead of just words on a screen.

Anyways, thank you for reading through all my random blabbering. 😂

I hope you enjoy the story as much as I’ve loved writing it.

Happy reading, loveliesss! 💕

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel
