Author’s Letter!

WELCOME READER(S);

THE STORY YOU are about to read is a work of fiction and it’s a work of fiction and it’s a modern dark erotic fairytale too; I am doing a gender-bending twist to the classic Danish fairytale - Snedronningen/The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. Mixing five different Mythologies - Slavic, Norse, Greek, Celtic and Japanese; I am also gender-being two Greek Goddesses and using different versions of their names for their male counterparts.

Carpo/Carpho/Karpo/Xarpo: Goddess & Personification of Autumn, Ripening and Harvesting of Plants/Guardian of the CloudsChione/Khione: Nymph & Goddess of Snow, Ice and Hail

I will also be using different version names of the three Gods from Slavic, Norse and Celtic Mythologies.

Jarylo/Yarilo/Iarilo/Juraj/Jurij/Gerovit: [alleged] East and South Slavic God of Spring, Sun, Passion, Love, Sex, Procreation, Fertility, Agriculture, Rage & WarFreyr/Frey: [pronounced: FREY-ur - Old Norse meaning Lord] Norse God of Peace, Fertility, Wealth, Rain, Summer & Sunshine Cernunnos: [known by the Romans as Dis] Celtic Horned One or Horned God of Fertility, Life, Animals, Wealth & the Underworld

There will also be Yokai from Japanese Myth and Folklore with a twist; I will be using Google Translation for names of Animal Yokai, certain words, phrases, swearing and attempted conversations in Japanese. The Google Translation may not be very accurate in translating conversations; but I did my best with what I have and I would like to apologize beforehand for any mistakes made!

I’ve also used a few websites for research and names of people, places, etc.

Yokai.com: the illustrated database of Japanese Myth, Folklore and Urban Legends.Wikipedia for research on any historical info, sex positions, BDSM, etc.Fantasynamegenerators.com: a website that gives you names of people [fantasy, folklore, fandom & historical], names of places, descriptions, etc.Scabbard.com: Easiest to Use World-Builder website.Mythopedia.com: the World Encyclopedia of Mythology; discover the gods, goddesses, myths, legends and cosmology of ancient civilizations.Wallango.com: Bring Art History Home

There will be references to Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away [2009 Movie], A Song of Ice and Fire novel series by George R. R. Martin, Outlander novel series by Diana Gabaldon, etc! This is an experimental novel that I’ve written and it’s written in a unique way; this story is a historical fantasy set in an alternate reality that gets turned into a magic realm.

I took some creative liberty in turning an alternate Japan into a magic realm that is stuck in the Edo Period with a twist. I’ve done my best to research the Edo Period but, sadly, there will be historical inaccuracies despite being set in a magic realm and I would like to apologize beforehand for any mistakes made!

Any historical persons from the Edo Period are not to be taken seriously as I am only using the names in the story with a twist. This is my first time writing monster erotica and erotic romance mixed with dark and historical fantasies, and mythic and supernatural; I’ve done my research on the erotic scenes and I hope I wrote this novel well.

I have written quite detailed descriptions of people, places, things and scenes; as I said before this is a modern dark erotic fairytale and this is a pentalogy or a five-book-in- one novel. This is a large novel that I’ve been working on; the five books that make up this novel are…Till, Plant, Sprout, Bud and Bloom!

Yeah I know those titles sound like stages to gardening but I think you, my dear Readers, will enjoy this unique difference especially the chapters; you are about to enter the Enchanted Realms of Faery and there are ten Realms, each different and unique and the five books will explore two Realms each. The Enchanted Realms of Faery is the alternate reality of Japan stuck in the Edo Period with a small mixture of other cultures; it was interesting to craft each Realm, places, people and things for the story.

I wrote this as a novella series and I want this book to maintain its originality before I did any changes; that includes the Character Cast that I have written and worked hard to create for this pentalogy novel. Any other characters that have been added will still be used but they get cameos and minor roles; I also added a few other things into the novel that I haven’t added into the novella series like a few glossaries on fruits and vegetables that may grow in Faery, World Trees and the currency that is used.

I wanted to write something different and unique, I crafted an interesting modern erotic fairytale that is dark, exploring the supernatural side, etc. So I decided to take a chance; I’ve put a lot of hard work into this pentalogy novel and I hope that you enjoy this unique story!
