Summary

Jamie wants nothing more than to reunite with her childhood friend Taylor. Once the two of them begin sharing letters, they suddenly disappear along with their close friend Andy. As years pass, the town continues to search for Andy while Jamie only cares why Taylor's letters stopped As the truth catches up to her and memories overlap reality, Jamie must decide if she's finally ready to move on, or dive even further into what happened to Taylor. A question that could answer where Andy's been all along.

Place-Iowa

Time-1952/1970

Stage setup:

First floor/ Act one

Upstage right: Two school desks

Upstage: Curtain entrances

Upstage left: window with a bed in front of it

Stage left:writing desk

Second floor: The Tree house

Downstage Left: Sofa chair

Upstage right: Battery clock on small table

Tree house is meant to look comfortable with pillows and small chairs. Maybe even a fort in the corner. Lots of forest, fall colors.

First floor/ Act Two

The first floor is split into two rooms.

Stage right being Andy’s and Stage Left Taylor’s.

All of Jamie’s notes and papers are gone.

Stage right/Upstage right: Dresser with a bookshelf behind it

Center: Bed laying vertical(not blocking the curtain entrances)

Upstage:Curtain entrances

Upstage Left:window with a bed in front of it

Stage Left: writing desk
