Summary
Lily Tripathi is broke, lazy, and desperate enough to take a job she should have questioned. Live-in nanny. No days off. No outside contact. A salary too large to be normal, for a baby too small to explain any of it. Zeyansh Thakur is calm in the way only dangerous men are calm — a former mafia boss turned recluse, hiding himself and his infant son deep in a forest no map fully shows. He doesn't raise his voice. He doesn't have to. Every rule in his house exists for a reason he never explains, and every kindness he offers comes with a silence underneath it that makes her skin crawl. There's a locked room on the third floor. A wife who died in an "accident" no one will discuss. A staff that vanishes every morning like clockwork. And a pull toward Zeyansh that Lily can't explain and doesn't trust — not in a house full of rules, not from a man who warns her only once. She signed up to raise his son. She didn't sign up to fall for the one man in this house she should be running from.
