"A page-turner! The plot hits the ground running and keeps you completely hooked from start to finish. The narrative voice is engaging, the pacing is spot-on, and the dynamic between the characters makes it impossible to put down. It's well-written, full of emotion, and fear... I can't wait to read the rest of it."
The strongest part, for me, is the husband sensing that something is wrong even when she says nothing
"It has a really warm, realistic family atmosphere. I especially liked how the husband understands his wife even when she doesn’t respond—those little moments make their relationship feel genuinely close. The fact that they have two kids and still have that affection and comfort with each other makes the family feel happy and established. But the part that really caught my attention is the wife being scared to tell him something. That immediately creates suspense and makes me want to know what happened and why she’s afraid. 👀 Overall, it feels like a sweet family story with an emotional mystery building underneath, which is a nice combination."
