Chapter 1

"Are we really leaving in the middle of the school year?" Lilith said loading another box into the moving fan. "I'm sorry Hun, but we got a better job at a hospital we have to go. Plus, it's more money." Mary, her mother said happily as her dad walked on the other side of her "Trust me Lil, we don't like this anymore than you do. But you will love it there. I am positive of that. You know there are some..." her father Phil howled making her roll her eyes. "Just because I became friends with 1 of them. Doesn't mean they are all like that, trust me Travis has told me enough stories to last a lifetime.

Her mother and father looked at her sadly. "So can I take the hearse?" she said excitedly only to have no one making eye contact. "Where is my car?" she said quickly hearing her mother clear her throat "A funeral parlor offered us 5,000 dollars for it. We sold it." Lilth's eyes widen "Are you fucking serious right now?! What would make you think I would agree to that. Fuck!" she screamed annoyed as her father spoke "We needed the money for moving and bills until we get paid, I promise once--" Lilith glared at them "So my old car gets sold, but you still have your stupid old ass Mustang that will never work because you are to goddamn lazy and cheap to fix it properly." Phil stood straighter "We also don't want to scare the neighbors before we even get noticed" her dad barked "Then what am I taking to class?" her parents once again didn't meet her eyes "Well...We work about 12-15 hours daily so we both need our cars." her mother said softly.

"Are you telling me I need a fucking uber to school and back, if so, who is paying for that? Because with no notice on moving I lost my fucking job at the bookstore" her parents were silent which made her so much madder "You guys are the worst fucking parents ever. I offered to move out you said no, I tried saving money you guys wanted help with bills, I not you, I buy and pay for my first car, and you fucking sell it without me knowing. Then you call the bookstore and tell them I am moving before you tell me, I get fired yesterday and now have no job or way to support myself. But you two got a new house right, you got better jobs right. Better jobs don't mean shit when you are hemorrhaging money from your addictions to shopping and spending stupid amount of money on useless things. You two are supposed to be the grown-ups here. Not me. I shouldn't have to bail your sorry asses out ever since day!" Lilith yelled making the movers look everyone in the family.

"You have showed off enough go get in the car." her father said with a deep voice. "Oh what, do I need to be in the car since I will more than likely be paying for the gas to go to this wonderful new place that you will leave?" Her mother looked at her husband and sighed "Well..." Lilith's eyes got wide "Are you fucking serious right now!"

After staying silent for 4 hours and her parents asking to borrow money over and over again Lilith grabbed her phone seeing it said no service "Did you two not pay my phone bill? I gave you the money." she snapped with her father clearing his throat "We needed medicine and food for the house." Lilith could feel her blood pressure rising "You are fucking doctors don't you have better insurance" before she could have an argument her mom huffed "Give us your card." she snapped Lilith took it out with a smile. "You are so right. I will give you my card" Lilith smiled and began cutting it in half handing them each little piece except 1 piece of the line on the back and the chip on the side. She threw those two out the window and looked at them.

"Give me your phone" her father barked making her laugh "I have no service, meaning you can't transfer money dumbass" he turned around in the seat and went to grab her phone. She held it away from him as he slapped her cheek trying to get to it. Lilith looked like she was going to kill her father and rolled down her window frisbeeing the phone out of it.
