An enjoyable short read
"A Little Less Room by Paul Wolfe is a pretty compelling story. The central idea, a house contracting each time someone apologizes in an abusive relationship, is very inspired, although the metaphor might be emphasized a little too much in certain parts. Still, it's effective how Wolfe puts their leads in a dire situation and made me care for them. There have been stories about abusive husbands before, of course, but that doesn't mean I wasn't rooting for the characters to get out this horrid situation. Without spoiling, I found the denouement to be very satisfying. So, it's a nice short read and I'll definitely check out Wolfe's other work in the future."
