Between Us, Slowly Chapter 1 Hana had been nervous about her first day at her new job since the moment she woke up. Now, standing inside the huge entertainment company, she was trying to find her office. “Third floor… office 302.” She checked the number on the door and opened it. “Excuse me, I'm the new—” She stopped. A man sitting behind the desk looked at her. “This is the wrong office.” Hana slowly looked at the number. 203. Her phone said 302. “Oh…” She stepped back, embarrassed. “First day,” she whispered to herself. “And I've already walked into the wrong office. My day couldn't get any worse.” Then she heard someone behind her. “Are you looking for 302?” She turned around. It was Jae. Hana nodded. “Yes.” He smiled and pointed down the hallway. “You're going the wrong way.” Hana stared at him. “Again?” Jae laughed. “Come on. I'll show you.” And that's how Hana met Jae—on a day that was already going terribly wrong.

I admire your boldness at having a one sentence chapter like that. The only other author I know of who's done something similar is Stephen King. His chapter only contained one word. That word was 'Rinse' from his novel Misery. 😂👍
