"No spoilers! It was all together a good read the plot was deeply woven and very elaborate though the writing could have been better and more engaging but the overall story line kept me going on and on. The characters introduced in the beginning are later included which I think would have been better otherwise but it was good 10/10 for chemistry and plot."
Princess guard
"I thought it was a great story with suspense but I do think the princess should have been more upset with her dad. yes he loves someone but to pull the wool out below her the way he did was cruel."
Great Premise, but at breakneck speed
"I really like the premise of this, a guard with nothing to lose and who is his own person being assigned to watch over the princess, meanwhile there is something happening behind the scenes he can't quite figure out. I really do like the premise - and it also feels a bit rushed. What is Kael's full background? Why is he so stoic? Give us more about Elara - what to people say verses what does Kael observe? Their one liner relationship is cute, maybe build up to it a bit? And it's clear that there is a mystery taking place. Trust your readers a bit more, and don't feel you have to allude to it every few paragraphs. All in all, I do like it so far. Keep it up!"
Dramatic
"I have split feelings about this story, I like the characters Kael and Elara, but the story itself is boring. It has an interesting plot, but the writing itself isn’t fascinating at all. The characters are solving a mystery, but there’s no passion or excitement within the characters during their journey. Honestly the mystery itself makes no sense, the fact that it involves the main characters a great deal, but it’s written in such a nonchalant manner makes the mystery pointless. This story is just not exciting at all."
