CHAPTER ONE TWO DREAMS, ONE BEAT

The sun was slowly disappearing behind the houses, painting the evening sky with beautiful shades of orange, red, and purple.

Young Shaba sat outside with his headphones on, listening to a beat he had created on his phone. His fingers tapped against his knee as he searched for the perfect lyrics.

Music wasn't just something he enjoyed.

Music was his dream.

Ever since he was young, Shaba had imagined himself standing on a huge stage, microphone in his hand, while thousands of people sang his songs with him.

But there was one problem.

Not everyone believed in his dream.

Some people told him that becoming a singer was impossible.

Others laughed whenever he talked about becoming famous.

But Shaba refused to give up.

He believed that one day his music would be heard.

Suddenly, someone shouted from the gate.

"Bro!"

Shaba took off his headphones and looked up.

Standing at the gate was his best friend, Young Tekker. He was holding a small speaker and wearing a huge smile.

"Shaba!" Tekker shouted. "I've got something crazy!"

Shaba laughed.

"What did you find?"

Tekker walked inside and connected his phone to the speaker.

A powerful beat suddenly filled the yard.

BOOM... BOOM... CLAP.

Shaba's eyes widened.

"Where did you get that?"

"I made it last night," Tekker replied proudly.

Shaba immediately stood up.

"Bro..."

"What?"

"We need to make a song."

Tekker smiled.

"I was waiting for you to say that."

The two friends rushed into Shaba's room.

A notebook was placed on the table.

Shaba opened it to a fresh page.

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Then Shaba picked up his pen.

At the top of the page, he wrote:

YOUNG SHABA X YOUNG TEKKER

Tekker looked at the words and smiled.

"That's going to be legendary."

Shaba wrote another sentence underneath it:

THE BEGINNING.

Neither of them knew what those words would eventually mean.

They didn't know about the stages.

They didn't know about the crowds.

They didn't know about the challenges, the rivals, the fame, or the difficult moments that were waiting for them.

All they knew was that they had a dream.

And they had each other.

Tekker pressed play.

The beat started again.

Shaba closed his eyes and began thinking about his first line.

Tekker grabbed a pen and started writing.

The two friends worked for hours.

They laughed.

They argued about lyrics.

They deleted lines.

They created new ones.

And every time they thought the song was finished, they found something else to improve.

Eventually, Shaba looked at Tekker.

"Ready?"

Tekker nodded.

"Let's do it."

The beat started.

Young Tekker stepped up first.

His voice was confident.

Young Shaba followed.

Their voices were different, but somehow they sounded perfect together.

For the first time, they weren't just two friends dreaming about becoming singers.

They were artists.

When the song ended, the room became quiet.

The two friends looked at each other.

Tekker slowly smiled.

"Bro..."

Shaba smiled back.

"We actually did it."

They recorded
