Wait. What was my dream again?

I remember feeling trapped in rising heat, and there were plastic or cardboard cutouts all around me, and my gums’ roots were pushing out my teeth, and the voice of a thousand angels said to me, “It’s temporary.”

She walked towards her calendar, drawing a cute red heart around the words. “First Day Of Hell”, she put her marker down and turned around to go towards her closet.

Maybe that should be my mantra as I step into what will inevitably be the worst years of my life.

Ah yes, off to a world in which girls are to only wear pink dresses and boys blue pants. Well, I dyed my uniform and embroidered flowers on the sleeves.

Speaking of, I should probably change into my uniform right now

Once she stepped in the closet, the door closed behind her but she walked out of it, in something similar to her school uniform as she walked out of the bedroom.

Nah, that shit’s itchy. It can wait.

She brushed her teeth, looking at herself in the mirror before she sighed and spat out the toothpaste in the sink and turned the water off, wiping the remains off her mouth. She walked out of her bathroom and into the hallway, she walked in the kitchen and picked up the box of cereal and opened it up.

Oh yeah. And in my dream, you know, when the air below me was sucking my teeth out of their sockets, I noticed that my front two teeth stayed and the gap between them just kept getting larger and larger.

How’s that even possible? I know, right?

I wish my mom hadn’t passed out right now and could at least drive me to the bus stop.

She poured the cereal in the bowl, trying until she noticed nothing was coming out. She looked in the box and let out a soft giggle, seeing her pet spider in the box.

Phillipe? What are you doing there? Don’t scare me like that!

She poured the spider out of the box and then processed to pour herself a bowl of cereal. Once she was done, she walked towards the front door and picked up her backpack. She heard the bus come by so she rushed outside, hoping to catch it before she missed it.

Two siren twins walked on the bus, looking around and went to find a seat. Before one of them could sit down, someone stuck their foot out in the aisle and tripped her, making her fall face first on the floor. The students started laughing like little four year olds, the blue twin helped her sister up and they both sat down.

“I hate we have to go to this school..what’s the fucking point anyways?” the blue siren twins Verena asked, crossing her arms. The red siren Vivienne shrugged her shoulders, looking on the side of her to see a girl looking at her. Her hair was blonde on one side and black on the other, Vivienne smiled at her and waved slowly. But then out of nowhere, there was a pink ball thrown at the girl’s head, her friend picked up the ball and opened it, seeing the words. Her friend sat up in her seat and looked to the back of the bus.

“Real Mature” Her friend spoke, the different headed girl looked at the paper, seeing that it says “gap toothed bitch”

“Awwh, does the bunny rabbit need some tissues?” A blonde headed girl spoke, smirking.

“She might have some in her bra,” another blonde chuckled, making everyone laugh. Vivenne couldn’t take it anymore, she stood up and walked to the blonde girl, shoving her back in her seat.

“You don’t ever say something so cruel to her ever again? Do you understand me?” Vivenne asked. The girl got scared when her eyes turned pitch black and dark red. They glowed down at her, making her wince in fear. Vivenne blinked and leaned up, walking over to her seat and sat down.

The blue siren twin looked confused before rolling her eyes and looked out the window. Vivenne looked at the girl and smiled, nodding her head at her.

“What’s your name, if you don’t mind me asking,” Vivenne said.

“Crybaby..” The girl replied.

“Well Crybaby, my name is Vivenne, i’m a-”

“A siren, I can tell,” Crybaby smiled. Vivenne giggled softly, feeling her cheeks heat up as they talked. When the bus stopped, the door opened up and there was a handsome boy stepping on the bus, Crybaby’s eyes went towards him and her mouth flew open slowly.

“It’s Brandon,” One of the blondes said softly. Crybaby stood up, walking over to him and held her hand out for him to shake it.

“I’m crybaby..” She said, smiling. He smiled back, about to touch her hand but was interrupted by one of the blonde’s screams, making Brandon look behind Crybaby and push her back to her seat, going over to the blonde. Vivenne gasped and walked over to her, checking on her.

“Are you okay?” Vivenne asked.

“Mhm..I-I’m fine” Crybaby said, sitting up and fixing her dress a bit. Verena tapped her sister’s shoulder, trying to get her attention, the bus swerved off the road, making the kids scream in fear. The driver tried his best to turn the bus the right way but instead, the vehicle flew off the road and into the deep blue sea.

The kids whimpered in fear, looking out the window, looking out for danger. Crybaby and her friend Angelita looked at each other and grabbed each other’s hand, before they knew it, the bus was moving out of the water and into the sky, high up into the pink clouds, making the view beautiful.

“Wow” the siren twins said in unison, looking out the window. The bus flew through the sky, slowly and steadily, not too fast. Crybaby looked out the window and smiled, looking at Angelita.

“You think we should land this thing?” Angelita asked.

“No, I like it up here,” Crybaby replied, really amazed by the colors. But as soon as the bus hovered over a building, it dropped down, causing some kids to scream. When it landed on the ground, parking where it’s supposed to be. The kids hopped off the bus, chatting and holding hands like they were planning things together, The siren twins stayed behind with Angelita and as they felt someone’s eyes land on them, they bent over and their skirt lifted up, showing off the words to the driver.

He scoffed and closed the two doors for the bus, the girls giggled and walked away, going inside of the school building. Everyone was already gone, it was quiet and scary, which wasn’t new to Crybaby and Angelita, but for the siren twins, it was super scary, they’re used to swimming in the light and seeing bright monsters, never seen dark monsters before.

“I don’t understand why everyone is so afraid of death”

“I agree, it’s another part of life”

“You start in the womb and you end in the tomb” Verena added, making the girls giggle at her words. They all walked up the steps, hearing nothing but the wind blow outside softly, giving Vivenne the shivers up her spine. She exhaled and closed her eyes, shaking the feeling off and kept walking.

“Wait..where is everyone?” Angelit asked.

“I don’t know if it’s because it’s cold in here, but I’m getting kind of a creepy chill down my back…” Vivenne spoke softly.

They all looked at each other with smirks and all said “I love it” They giggled before someone behind them looked at them, making them move quickly and reach the tops of the steps.

“What even was that?” Verana asked, looking behind her.

“I don’t know, but it felt creepy” Crybaby replied.

“What was the room number again? Vivenne asked, looking over at Angelita.

“222” She replied, looking around.

All eyes were on the one door that was in front of them, making Vivenne gulp.
