Chapter 1
The era of the Middle Ages is now a long distant past, and so is the reign of Vlad Dracula Tepes who was once consumed with rage over the unjust death of his beloved wife, Lisa. He was brought to a merciful death by the current vampire monarch, Yelena Carmilla Ceres, who now quietly lives in the shadows alongside her lovers.
There were others who have sought to bring him to life, such as the sentient being known as Death himself. But like those who failed, he was slain by two vampire hunters from two powerful clan; Trevor Belmont of the Belmont Clan, and Ryoko Kuromiya of the Kuromiya Clan from Japan.
Since then, peace was restored and humanity was able to live as time flows. The tales of their heroic feats are passed on, whether it be oral or on papers. From tales, to legend and now to myths as civilization grew and advanced better than before.
But as always, peace never lasts forever.
The year is now 1792, and this marks the era of the French Revolution. Tales of the aristocrats heavily taxing the poor, and making use to throw galas and feasts that only the luxury can enjoy while the commoners suffer. It was obvious that it’s only a matter of time until the people overthrew the nobles and the monarchy for their incompetence and selfishness.
At least, she would know so given her clairvoyance that she inherited from her mother. She was not surprised when recently, there had been rumors that the Tuileries Palace was bombarded by the mobs that marched in to arrest the king and the queen of France.
Helena doesn’t pity Louis nor Marie Antoinette; their poor financial decisions were their downfall for only caring about their luxury lifestyle. The wealth they extorted from their own people, eventually earning their resentment that reached the tipping point. The consequences of their actions, whether they realized it or not.
But such issues are the least of her concerns. Being a vampire-demon hybrid, they’re just trivial matters that have nothing to do with her and only for the humans to deal with, unless it involves the bottom feeders that are up to no good.
She will admit, she hates seeing a beautiful city like Paris plagued by trash. Trash now being led by a false goddess. She has heard about a vampire goddess or something along the lines, and honestly she thought it was ridiculous considering the lore of her Mother and Dracula, two legends in their own right.
She swears, vampire kind are losing more and more of their class and pride. Most of them nowadays are just low-life fools preying on the fear of humans. Especially when they the tendency to bite off more than they can chew, like that one time some vampire idiots thought she was just an easy target when she encountered some bottom feeders during her travel in England.
The result was her tearing them apart in a bloody massacre. The last fool only realized who she really was and begged for mercy. She still killed him because she had zero patience with them.
“Helena, honey, where did you go?” A voice called out.
She turned to face a woman who bears a great resemblance to her, copper hair and natural pale skin. The only difference is she has crimson eyes while Helena has emerald eyes, and her features are more mature.
She wore a black dress with a corset wrapped around her waist hugging her figure, black heeled boots, and a choker. Her wedding ring on her left hand is a golden band with a ruby stone on it. She wore black eyeshadow with matching black lipstick. Her look gave her an aura of elegance and allure. She was Yelena Carmilla Ceres, the Queen of Vampires.
“I’m here, mother.” Helena calls out to her, as her mother approaches her youngest daughter.
Helena herself is wearing a black Victorian style blouse that has ruffles on the cuffs with neck puffs. She is also wearing a dark brown corset on, with dark pants and dark brown heeled boots. She has a dark blue cloak around her shoulder with wolf fur over atop, the cloak long enough to nearly touch the ground.
“Oh goody, everyone else is strolling around the city hoping to find some taverns. It’s been a long trip since we came from Russia.” Yelena says to her.
Helena sweat drops. “You mean after a few weeks the locals were trying to hunt us down with guns?” she muttered with dot eyes.
“Must you bring that up? Ugh, and here I thought the humans wouldn’t be any less dumb for mistaking us as one of their folklore monsters.” Yelena remarks with some annoyance on her elegant face.
“You know it’s true, mother.” Helena says with a twitching eyebrow. Although she enjoyed the landscape and food, to be nearly hunted down was not on her to-do list.
“Do we even remotely look like theBauk?Baba Yaga?” Yelena questions, and Helena just gives her mother a deadpan.
“No. But I guess our animal pelts didn’t help with theBaukcase.” Helena says.
They used the furs of the animals to keep themselves protected from the cold, even though they can easily endure the harsh winters. But it was for the sake of blending in so they wouldn’t arouse suspicion on their nature from the humans, yet that was for naught in the end.
Then Yelena felt wrapped around her waist, being embraced by a woman of Japanese descent with brown skin, long black hair and purple eyes. She was wearing a purple and black Victorian style dress with black heeled boots with a red cloak with fur trimming. She is wearing purple eyeliner with matching purple lipstick.
She is Ryoko Kuromiya, Yelena’s first lover and one of Helena’s mothers.
“There you are, have you found a tavern yet?” Ryoko asks, while giving Yelena a kiss to her cheek in an affectionate manner.
“Not yet, unfortunately.” Yelena giggles.
“I really could use a drink right now, though...” Helena says with a pout. All the traveling was making her thirsty, but obviously it isn’t water that she was craving for.
Ryoko pouted and her stomach was growling. “I’m really hungry at this point, craving for some French bread with meat and potatoes...” Ryoko says with a blush on her tanned face.
Yelena formed dot eyes when she noticed only Ryoko had found them.
“Beloved, where are the others?” She asks the former hunter.
“Oh, I left them behind,” Ryoko says with dot eyes.
Yelena looks very amused while Helena blinks at that.
“What does that remind me of?” Yelena remarks with an amused grin. The knowing glint in her wife’s eyes meant that she knew exactly what she was referring to.
Helena then smells something, and her nose twitches. The delectable aroma of food, and the strong aroma of ale made her beam.
“Oh, I think we’re not too far from a tavern.” she tells her mothers.
“Oh good, as much as I love looking around the city but I do want to rest up.” Ryoko says with anime tears.
“We don’t get tired easily, you know.” Helena says with a raised eyebrow, though amused.
“It’s the thought that counts.” Ryoko says in response.
“Come, come.” Yelena says, ushering her wife and daughter to move along for the tavern.
Following their sharp and sensitive noses due to their inhuman nature, the travel was merely around the block of the street. The tavern is in sight, and they can hear the chatter of people and smell the food.
They wandered in through the wooden double doors, and greeted to a sight of patrons sitting by the tables or standing around enjoying their meals and drinks. Waitresses come around serving the customers, while the bartender is serving the drinks.
“Helena, be a dear and find a table for us while we order some grub.” Yelena says to her daughter, smiling.
“Yes, mother.” Helena says to her as she goes to find them a table so they can have some food and drinks. She will admit, it smells delicious in the tavern making her drool a bit.
Oh, she never realized how hungry she really is until now. She spots an unoccupied table in the corner and she beams, already eagerly making way to claim it before others do. In her eagerness, she didn’t see someone from her left coming by and so she bumped into that person.
“Oh!” Helena squeaked in surprise, already moving to catch herself from falling over but then felt a strong muscular arm wrapping around her waist, effectively catching her.
“Whoa..!” She says with a blush as she feels how strong they are.
“Sorry, you alright?” A voice called out to her.
“Oh, uh, yes I’m al-” Helena starts, turning her head to look at the person, only to trail off when she takes in his appearance.
A tall young man with short brown hair and lovely blue eyes, his skin having a slight tan complexion. She can already tell his build is quite muscular.
He is wearing a blue long coat with a white interior, leather armguards on his forearms with fingerless gloves. He is wearing white pants with a wide waistband covering the large part of his abdomen with a white belt atop, and jackboots with steel.
Helena will admit the man is very handsome, especially his blue eyes.
“Sorry...” Helena muttered shyly towards him.
Quite surprising that she starts feeling very shy, when usually Helena would maintain her cool around strangers. Even if strangers are visually pleasant in appearance, Helena doesn’t bother looking twice in their direction.
Yet this man is a different tale.
“Oh no, it’s fine. It’s my fault for not noticing you.” the young man says to her, forming a sheepish grin on his face.
Oh god, it made him look more attractive-
“N-No, no, that’s on me! I didn’t see you there!” Helena says quickly with her green eyes slightly wide, her pale face becoming darker from her blush.
“How about we both didn’t see each other.” the man says sheepishly making her blush a bit, nodding in agreement still bashful.
“Y-yeah, let’s go with that...” she remarks, before looking down and seeing that his arm is still around her waist. As much as she surprisingly doesn’t mind it being there, but they gotta separate.
“Your arm, please.” she says, making him blink his eyes and looks down to take notice.
“Oh, right...” he mutters, taking his arm back from holding her. It was then Helena looks at him and notices something that nags her.
‘He looks familiar, even though I haven’t met him before....’she thinks to herself, wondering why he looks familiar.
Maybe his facial features remind her of someone...?
It clicks in her mind now that she thought about it. But she needs one thing that confirms it.
“Can you turn around for me?” she asks him.
The man blinks, finding her request unusual. Despite this, he turns around anyways to comply, showing her the Belmont crest on the back of his tail coat in the process. The sight of it made her eyes nearly pop out of her skull.
Now she's definitely sure.
“You’re a Belmont.” Helena says in shock given she hasn’t seen a Belmont in a long time.
“You know about the clan?” He questions, turning himself back around to look at her in surprise.
“Well, I’ve heard stories.” Helena tells him, omitting the fact that she has known about the clan since she was born.
Especially since the last time she met a Belmont was her very, very late uncle figure. That person was Trevor himself.
Well, there was one more actually but who knows where he's been at the moment. She and her family haven't managed to stay in touch with him since the incident.
“What kind of stories specifically?” he questions curiously.
“Oh, you know, like the tale about how Dracula fell.” she says to him. She sees that he is looking at her for a bit now, taking note of her hair first before her face.
It makes her feel like she is burning up from the inside from his intense look. She's aware he's only studying her features; nothing more.
But that doesn't help her attraction towards him making her not-so innocent thoughts to form helplessly.
“Are you... by any chance a Ceres?” he asks.
“Oh? What makes you say that?” Helena says smiling, looking to the side pretending to be innocent in a playful manner.
“I heard from my mother. My ancestor has had some wild stories involving the Vampire Queen.” the man says with a sheepish laugh with a blush.
“Oh, is that so?” Helena asked curiously with a grin.
“They didn’t mention that the vampire queen would have a beautiful daughter.” he says, and then he pauses as though realizing that he just said something that should’ve been kept to himself.
“Sorry if that was out of the blue.” he adds.
“You’re not sorry though.” she grins at him with a giggle. Helena can tell that he doesn’t regret it in the slightest.
“Can I have the name of the handsome man before me?” she teases.
The man blushes at that; usually he brags about his looks. The fact a lovely lady before him addresses that gave a different effect.
“Richter Belmont.” he says introducing himself to her.
Helena grins. “I’m Helena Lilith Ceres.” she says introducing herself to him.
“So that makes you the princess of vampires?” Richter asked her.
“Yes indeed.” Helena isn’t surprised, given that the Belmont family passes down knowledge generation to generation. Of course they’d be well-informed and keep themselves up to date.
“Oh, uh, do you wanna... sit and talk?” she then asks, seeing that they’re just standing around for a while now.
“Unless of course, you got places to be.” she adds as an afterthought, hoping she isn’t keeping him from whatever he was doing earlier.
“No, not really. We could sit and chat.” Richter says to her as he looks forward to chatting with her, making Helena beam at that.
Meanwhile on the other side of the tavern, Yelena and Ryoko were making their orders to the bartender. Obviously, Ryoko made her order of braised meat with bread and baked potatoes, just like she said she would.
“And I’ll have French onion soup, some smoked ribs and two mugs of ale on the side.” Yelena tells the bartender with a polite smile, whose jolting it down on a booklet.
“Right away, Madam.” the bartender says to her.
“Do you also have dessert that we could share together?” Ryoko asks the bartender as she wants to share a dessert with Yelena.
She wants to enjoy a meal with her wife before the others finally find them. Even after years of marriage, they still fought constantly for alone time with the queen. It's the one thing that never changed.
Yelena blushes at that but the bartender grins at Ryoko. He doesn’t care about the same sex relationship; to him love is love.
“Well the most popular dessert is the chocolate cake, simple but delicious.” The Bartender says to her.
“We’ll take it.” Ryoko says happily, knowing that chocolate is her wife’s favorite.
“I’ll add that to the order.” the bartender says, writing it down before moving to the kitchen area in the back to deliver.
That’s when Yelena turns to look for her daughter if she found the table, only to blink and her eyes to go wide. She blinked a few times just to be sure, and was delighted she wasn't seeing things.
She pats Ryoko by the shoulder a few times, gaining her attention. “Yes, love?” Ryoko asks, tilting her head upon noticing her expression of sudden delight.
“Look, look!” Yelena squeals excitedly, pointing over where Helena is as Ryoko looks over.
Ryoko’s eyes widened at the sight of Helena having company with Richter. She squealed, seeing that her wife's vision from centuries ago came true in a flesh.
“Aww, she found her soulmate! And he’s a Belmont too! Oh, he has Trevor’s brown hair and Sypha’s blue eyes!” Ryoko gushes.
“Awww, how adorable~” Yelena says with a blush on her face.
Yelena can see plain as day that her daughter is really loving the company with the current Belmont hunter. She can also see that Richter, in return, is loving the company with her daughter as well.
Those two are truly fated to each other, as the red string of destiny intended.
“Oooh, they are already linking up but I’m not mad. Although Mel and Zel won’t be happy about this...” Ryoko says with a sweat drop knowing how much they dread the thought of it.
“They’re gonna have to accept it whether they like it or not.” Yelena comments with a mischief glint in her eyes.
“Is he here alone, I wonder..?” Ryoko questions in wonder, looking around the tavern for a little bit. If memory serves her right, he’s here in France living with his cousin and aunt.
“He was brought here after Julia’s death right?” Ryoko whispered to Yelena, who frowned hearing what happened ten years ago.
She has heard of the incident.
Back in Boston across the seas, Julia had made plans to send her son over to where Tera is for safety reasons. But then there was an encounter with an Aztec vampire that left Julia dead in the aftermath, but her son Richter managed to get to the ship to make way to France in peace.
Yelena knows who the vampire is that’s responsible for Julia’s death, given that her wife also happens to know him for some time right now.
“She intends to send him here for safety reasons, but either way I feel sympathy for him. I can already sense that his speaker magic is still locked in response to the incident.” the vampire queen whispers back to her wife.
“Hopefully he gets his magic back soon. Should we join them?” Ryoko asks her.
Yelena then forms a tiny pout on her face. As much as she would like to join and get to know the current hunter, she wouldn't want to intrude the private moment.
“I wanna let Helena have her moment with him a little longer...” Yelena says.
Ryoko giggles with mischief. “Sure, the future couple does need to spend time with each other after all.” she says with a grin.
“Plus, we are soon becoming empty nesters...” Ryoko adds with a pout.
“Sad but true.” Yelena says with a pout as well.
But of course, they both knew that’ll change when there comes the day the children find their soulmates. And, eventually, grant them grandchildren in the future.
“Well she secured the table, we’ll just have to wait for the food and drinks.” Yelena then adds, and Ryoko nods in agreement.
While they wait, Helena is currently telling her traveling story to Richter, obviously oblivious that her mothers are watching them. Unless she has, then she's doing a good job ignoring them like they're not there.
“And so we were trying out this food called yukhoe, and my dad wasn’t a fan because he hated the texture but I thought it was good. It’s just a required taste.” she remarks.
“Wait, but it’s raw beef. How are you able to require a taste for it?” Richter asked, now deeply curious about it.
“You don’t, it’s not for everyone but it could be a one and done experience. I think it's a texture thing now that I think about it.” Helena responds. She likes that Richter is curious about different cuisines.
She was worried she might bore him with traveling stories, but quickly realized she was wrong upon noticing how Richter actually listened. Even asking questions just because he's really curious to know about other parts of the world and the culture.
“And there’s also some dish names that can be rather misleading, there’s one that I thought was pretty funny. That dish is called dakdong-jibb which is chicken gizzard with some veggies.” Helena says, making him raise an eyebrow.
“How funny is it exactly?” Richter asks, making her grin.
“Because in English translation, the dish name means ‘chicken butthole’.” she reveals.
Richter nearly choked, clearly not expecting that. But he started snickering behind his fingerless gloved hand. “You think they did it on purpose just to piss off some customers?” He questions with a grin.
“I mean now that you mentioned it, there was that one rude foreign customer my family and I happened to witness from across a table kicking up a fuss. That person did order that dish and ate some before complaining about the lack of flavor. From the looks of it, he comes by there a few times just to be a dick and so the owner of the tavern decides to kick him out and ban him from coming. Not before calling him a dirty ass eater for eating chicken ass just to mess him up.” she explains with a giggle. She still recalls the look of absolute horror that still sends her reeling in amusement.
Richter snickers at that. “I wish I could see the look on that wanker’s face, I bet he’ll think twice about being an ass.” he snickered.
“I know right, my parents were trying not to laugh too hard behind that wanker's back.” Helena says, recalling that moment.
“Is that the only dish with that kind of misleading name?” He asks, and she hums in thought.
“Who knows? I’ve yet to be fluent in the other languages. I only know German, Korean, Japanese, French, some Russian, and Cantonese.” she responds with a light shrug.
“You know six languages? That’s impressive. I don’t know how you do it.” Richter says, immediately impressed with Helena’s linguistic skill.
“It’s not that impressive,” Helena insists with a bashful expression on her face. “It’s just something to learn to be prepared when visiting other countries.”
“It is actually.” Richter says to her, making her blush even more than usual.
“Well what language do you know then?” She asks curiously.
“Aside from English, I know French but I’m still trying to be better at German. That’s all I know.” He responds. She tilts her head, before forming a mischievous grin.
"Verstehst du mich jetzt?" Helena asks him in fluent German, obviously to test him.
He blinks at her sudden switch, instantly realizing she's quizzing him. Richter knew what her question roughly translate to in his mind within a few seconds.
"Ja." Richter says towards her, making her grin knowing she could learn more languages with someone who doesn’t mind learning a new language.
“How about numbers? Do you know them in German?” She grins.
“Can only go up to ten.” Richter admits with a sheepish grin. Not that it shouldn't be too hard for him to catch on; it's just that he can easily mix them up.
“I’ll say the number and you guess. What number is elf?” Helena asks.
Richter thought about it for a moment. “Eleven, is it?” He asked her hoping he got it right. She grins indicating he did.
Meanwhile, Ryoko and Yelena were trying not to squeal, seeing the two already learning languages together while sharing their dessert together.
“Aww, they are already leaning into different languages.” Yelena says with a grin
“It’s so cute, I wish I had my sketchbook to draw this.” Ryoko says, already taking a bite into her cake.
“Trevor must be rooting from the heavens.” Yelena giggles.
“More like Sypha doing the rooting, but then again Trevor would be smug and proud.” Ryoko remarks.
No doubt he would be if he was alive to see this. Then probably laugh at her husbands’ misery seeing that the vision Yelena had ended up being true.
The sound of the door swinging open made her look over. Yelena blinked seeing it was a young girl with long light blonde hair styled in a low ponytail by a ribbon and green eyes wearing a pink and white outfit with brown shoes. She watches the girl scanning the area around, before eventually looking at where Helena and Richter are before approaching them.
“That must be his cousin.” Yelena comments, and Ryoko hums in agreement.
“Getting a quick drink, he says.” The girl says dryly, gaining Helena and Richter’s attention. Richter forms an annoyed look towards her.
“Well hello, Maria, I’m kind of busy right now.” Richter says to her with some sarcasm while Helena has dot eyes.
Maria scoffs. “You said you were going for a quick drink, not chatting with a woman who’s way too beautiful to be around you.” she deadpanned towards him.
From the side, Ryoko snickers at the girl's manners. “Although she’s not a Belmont, she has their infamous sharp tongue.” she commented.
“I’ll say.” Yelena says with amusement, watching the three from their spot and continues eating the cake.
“She’s not complaining.” Richter remarks. Helena looks at him with a tilt of her head.
“And she is..?” She asks, and he sighs heavily.
“This is Maria, who is unfortunately my cousin.” Richter introduces, while giving Maria the stink-eye still.
“Unfortunately is right, how do you deal with this wanker?” Maria asked Helena, gesturing the hunter with a jerk of her thumb. A vein pop onto Richter’s forehead in growing irritation, his left eyebrow even giving off a twitch.
Helena blinks. “Well, we chatted about travels and getting to know each other. He makes great conversations.” she says to Maria.
“Oh you poor soul, you have no idea how he really is when he gets more comfortable around you.” Maria says, obviously taking a shot at Richter.
“Are you trying to sabotage me?” Richter questions, irritated.
“Maybe.” Maria says with a grin towards him.
“You little brat, don’t you have your little meetings somewhere?” Richter says with a raised eyebrow towards her.
Ryoko and Yelena grins seeing the banter. “I’m enjoying this, especially the banter reminds me of us.” Ryoko says with a grin.
“You know the surprise is that the others didn’t find us yet.” Yelena says with dot eyes.
“But beloved, let’s enjoy our time together alone without the others.” Ryoko says, eating a piece of cake.
“Oh, you.” Yelena sighs.
Even when married to her and the five getting along well, they always have their moments of fighting to earn their bonding time with her. Like children fighting over the last slice of cake.
“Why do you think I came here looking for you?” Maria questioned the Belmont back.
“To annoy the hell out of me.” Richter deadpanned.
“That, and to remind you we have a meeting later on tonight.” Maria says to him with a grin.
Richter just stares at her. “I am so convinced you thrive off on making my life hell.” He mutters which made Maria snicker.
Helena smiles at the banter. It reminds her of the banter with her own siblings, and also the banter between her parents.
“Well he was keeping me in good company.” Helena says to Maria.
“Well I hope he does. Anyways, we have to get going, wanker. We got to be at the meeting spot on time.” Maria tells her cousin, jerking her thumb towards the front door of the tavern.
“Ugh, fine.” Richter groans in reluctance.
Helena pouts. “Awww, just when things are getting good.” she says to Richter with a teasing look in her green eyes.
Richter blushes. “We could meet again sometime again.” he offered.
“I would love that, actually.” Helena says happily, her face turning rosy. Maria watches the two with a blink before instantly grinning widely.
Oh, she sees it now.
“See you around, then.” Richter says, getting up and leaving the tavern with Maria.
“Bye~” Helena waves at them, smiling and still blushing.
She watches them walking, leaving the tavern until the doors close after them. Then she leans herself on the table with a big besotted sigh.
Oh, she is a goner for sure.
“Ooooh, Helena~” Yelena coos, she and Ryoko finally join their daughter at the table with the food.
Helena squealed seeing her mothers giving her grins indicating they know what’s going on. There's nothing she can do to hide it; they know.
“He’s dreamy, Helena, definitely your type.” Ryoko says with a grin. Helena’s face was red as her hair.
“H-huh? W-What do you mean by my type?!” Helena questions nervously.
“You know, tall, very built, brown hair and blue eyes. Not to mention, he’s a Belmont.” Yelena says with a grin.
“Oh, I could see the wedding bells.” Ryoko says, turning into a chibi.
“Who’s getting married?” A new voice called out it was the voice of a man. A vein popped onto Ryoko’s forehead with a forced grin on her face, a dark aura forming around her.
“Damn it, I was so hoping they were distracted...” Ryoko grumbled.
“Oh, there you are loves~” Yelena greets her remaining wives and two husbands cheerfully who are approaching them.
A woman with blonde hair in a braid and ruby red eyes, wearing a mauve dress with long sleeves and a black corset on. She is wearing dark heels. A fur cloak draped around her shoulders. She is a Vampiress from the Vampire Clan of Britannia, Gelda.
The other woman has long silver-white hair and teal blue eyes with fair skin. She is wearing a white asymmetrical dress with bell sleeves, and tan heeled boots. A goddess from the Goddess Clan and daughter of the Supreme Deity, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth goes to greet their wife with a hug, Yelena returns it.
Besides the three women were two men who could pass off as twins.
One of them has blonde hair with forest green eyes, tanned skin with a relaxed expression on his face. He has a short build with a muscular frame. He’s currently wearing a dark green long coat with dark pants with brown boots and black gloves with his sword strapped to his back.
Beside him, the other man matches him in height, build and appearance but with few differences. He owns dark spiky hair and his complexion naturally pale, his green eyes a shade darker and appears more mature and stern.
He’s wearing a dark red long coat with dark fur lined on the collar and cuffs, fingerless gloves and wearing black trousers with matching dark boots. His own sword is strapped to the right hip.
They are a pair of powerful demons from the Demon Clan. Sons of the old Demon King, Meliodas and Zeldris.
“H-Hey dad.” Helena says, thankful for their arrival but also trying to hide that she’s blushing but failing.
“Hey princess.” Meliodas says, although he was giving Ryoko the stink eye for sneaking away with their wife. Ryoko was drinking her ale as if she never did anything wrong.
“Oh hun, why are you blushing so much?” Gelda asks Helena, moving to sit beside her.
“Oh noth-” Helena starts, but her mother cuts in with a chirp.
“Cause she found her one and only earlier. You four just missed it.” Yelena says happily.
Zeldris’s eyes widened. “One and only?” He muttered.
Ryoko grins, she was feeling petty. “Yes, with a young and fine Belmont.” she says to them.
Yelena takes in the sight of her four spouses appearing frozen. Then she sees the dawning horror on her husbands’ faces.
Ryoko nearly chokes on her ale seeing the look on the brothers’ faces.
“N-No, no, not my daughter.” Meliodas says, his face becoming paler with a blue tint on his handsome face. His seven hearts are about to have a stroke.
“Ooh, what does he look like?” Elizabeth asks, blatantly ignoring the inner crisis the demon brothers are having.
Helena just stares at the table, her face turning redder than before.
“Oh. He’s quite tall and built, light tan skin, blue eyes and short brown hair.” Ryoko explained with a grin.
Meliodas has to take a seat still in denial.
“And he’s funny, intelligent and easy to talk to...” Helena muttered shyly, playing with her fingers.
“Anyone... Anyone but a Belmont..!” Meliodas mutters, having a cloud of depression over his head.
Trevor is most definitely laughing at their misery from the grave.
“But Meliodas, Richter is her soulmate, the same vision Yelena had.” Ryoko reminded while digging the knife further everyone sweat drop Ryoko was enjoying this too much.
“Oh fuck off, Ryo...” Meliodas mutters.
“Richter? His name is Richter?” Zeldris repeats.
“Yes, he’s Julia’s son.” Yelena explained to him.
“Oh, no wonder his name sounds familiar. Who would have thought he’d be the one that is fated to Helena.” Gelda says with a giggle. Helena blushes even more, wanting to just hide from the teasing.
“Luckily, he’s just as into her as she’s into him. Like the way you guys are with me centuries back.” Yelena grins.
Meliodas was still horrified in denial of his daughter being soul tied to a Belmont, a descendant of Trevor Belmont.
“He’s still in denial,” Elizabeth says, referring to the blonde demon.
“Can you blame him?” Zeldris says feeling sympathy for his brother.
“I’m surprised you’re taking it well.” Ryoko comments towards the dark-haired demon. She thought he would be horrified about it like Meliodas.
“Oh I’m not, just not as bad as him.” Zeldris says with a grimace.
Yelena sighs, glancing at her other husband. “Love, please. On the bright side, it’s someone we know is fully capable of fighting alongside Helena and defending her.” She tells him.
“Plus in a way, it reminds me and Yelena during our early relationship.” Ryoko says, making the other four pop a vein in irritation.
“You love shoving that in our faces, don’t you...” Gelda grumbled. Ryoko just grins in a shit-eating way as Helena just blushes heavily.
“She’s not wrong. We’re looking at another version of me and Ryo in the making. Except it’s only just Helena and Richter.” Yelena says with a closed-eye smile.
Meliodas formed another dark cloud in depression. Ryoko snickers seeing the look on Meliodas’s face; oh she was enjoying every minute of this.
“Well Paris is the city of love, although Yelena and I were the ‘first love at first bite’ kind.” Ryoko says with a grin.
“I hate you...” Meliodas mutters, and Ryoko just laughs like a witch.
Helena then looks up towards her biological mother. “Mum, we’re not exactly moving anywhere else, are we?” She asks shyly.
Yelena and her spouses already knew why Helena is asking this. The poor besotted dear isn’t trying to hide it.
Yelena hums thoughtfully, “Well, it wouldn’t hurt to linger in France for a while to rest up from Russia.”
“Plus, you and Richter could walk around the city.” Elizabeth says to Helena, Meliodas cries anime tears still horrified at the thought.
“Also guys, do you want any ale and maybe we could find a place here temporarily?” Ryoko asked the others.
“I could go for ale. I know this moron is gonna want something strong.” Zeldris says, even pointing towards Meliodas for the second part.
Meliodas sobbed dramatically, not caring if anyone saw him crying. He was having a moment damn it!
“Make that two ales.” Zeldris says with a sweat drop.
Helena only sweat dropped, watching her father having a dramatic sob episode over her finding her soulmate. Said soulmate being a Belmont.
“I’ll go order then.” Elizabeth says, getting up to make way towards the bartender.
