I stared at my little brother with confusion written all over my face as he held up one of our neighbor's cat infront of me.

"Why yuh have di people dem animal?" I asked and he looked at me like I should've already known the answer.

He rolled his eyes when I didn't say anything else, "A you seh yuh want it. When yuh did a talk mi hear yuh seh yuh want some puss, suh mi bring one come." He held it up higher. "Only one mi could a get though."

I hissed as I realized what he was talking about. "Jav, a pussy mi did ago seh but memba seh yuh deh right desso, mi did ago seh mi want some pussy." I tell him and his mouth made the shape of an O.

"Go bring back di people dem tings before mummy dem go weh." I said then he hissed before walking off.

I pulled my shorts up to my waist before making my way back into the house and going to the livingroom where I could hear my mother and sister's voice.

I hissed lowly, stuffing my hands in my pocket to find my phone, then I asked, "Jayla, everyday yuh come badda mi fi play game wid yuh, yuh nuh have no fren?"

"Mi have fren but dem just nuh online right now, jus play e game wid mi nuh."

"No mi nuh waah leave di house." She quickly interrupted me.

"Oh, but mi a go pon e road stillz suh mi cyaah play nuh game right now." I tried making up an excuse.

"Mi can come?!" She asked excitedly.

"Well dis different. Suh mi can come?" She asked again and I sighed.

I replied, "Sure, wait till Javon come back though."

"Weh him gone?" Mommy asked.

"Him gone gaah bring back Mavis cat." I said referring to the old lady who lived a two houses down.

"Oh." She hummed and I nod.

"Wah time unuh a leave?" I asked our parents since they were going on a date or something like that, and will be coming back tomorrow.

She thought for a moment then spoke, "Around 6, maybe unuh come back n nuh si wi. Speaking of that, unuh did want mi cook before mi leave?"

"No, Nathan can cook." Jayla answered before I could say anything and I side-eyed her.

"Mi did tell yuh seh mi waah cook nothing?"

She smiled, "Yuh nuh haffi tell mi cause yuh know yuh ago cook n yuh haffi cook if mi seh so."

"Hmm, whatever." I turned and went upstairs.

Walking to my room I realized that she was following me.

I continued walking and she followed behind while still laughing.

"Yuh naah done?" I turned to her once we were in the room.

"Ok mi done now." She said while walking over to my closet.

Everyday shi come in yah come 'shopping' but yet still shi naah pay mi fi mi clothes.

"Oye," I called and she looked at me. "Come out a mi closet."

She hissed while walking out. "Weh Jav gone? And weh wi a go?"

"Jav gone go put back sumo and den wi go buy some stuff fi mek dinner after mi drop off sumo." I said and she hummed.

"Wah uh go buy?" She asked another question.

Why shi nuh stop question mi.

"Sardine." I lied and she scrunched up her face.

"Ewww," She dragged the word. "Who even nyam dat."

"You ago nyam e tonight though." I pointed at her.

She looked at me up and down, "Yaah loose it? Mi rather dead fi hungry dan nyam dat." She hissed then mumbled, "Brite."

"I guess so." She answered back with attitude.

We stared at each other for a few seconds before I hissed and moved over to my nightstand, picking up my wallet and car keys.

I felt my phone vibrate in my hand so I held it up to look to see a number I didn't save was calling me.

I furrowed my brows then answered the call, putting the phone at my ear.

The person spoke first, "Stunna, yuh lef out already?" A female voice came through the phone.

"A who dis?" I asked. I recognized the voice but I couldn't remember the name, I knew it was one of the girls I'm talking to.

Mi talk to dem but mi naah deh wid dem n mi done tell dem already.

"Wah yuh mean a who dis? Nuh muss CiCi, mi a text yuh from morning and all now yuh cyaah ansa." She replied.

Shi seh 'nuh muss CiCi' like seh shi a somebody.

"Oh a you. Yeh, mi soon lef out maamz."

"Oh, suh why yuh neva did a ansa yuh phone?"

Nuh like people a question mi eno.

"Did busy." I said cause I was purposely ignoring her.

Cyaah badda wid e bagga chatting more while n mi did done tell har already from inna di morning but e come like har shame tree cut dung.

"A do wah? Yuh dat busy suh dat yuh cyaah find time fi mi?" She asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Yaah smady?" I asked back and she didn't respond. "Jus know mi soon fawod." I said then hung up.

I hissed, putting my phone and wallet in my pockets.

I turned to Jayla, "Mi ready."

"Ok, mi a go fi mi phone." She left my room.

Also left my room, closing the door behind me and going downstairs.

Jav was there now, walking towards our parents while drying his hands with a peice of paper towel.

"Yo," I called to him and he turned around to look at me. "Fawod."

He walked behind me as I made my way to the garage, "Weh wi a go?"

"Pon e road." I answered and he hummed.

"Which part pon e road?" He asked and I sighed.

"Why unuh nuh stop question mi? Jus fawod cause mummy dem go gone soon." I said and he rolled his eyes, getting in the back seat of my black mark X.

Haffi keep it pon e low since mi under age, cyaah be too suspicious.

I walked around the other side, opening the driver's door and getting in the car.

"Yow unuh gwaan go buy sumo inna di gas station." I said handing my each of my siblings a 2 thousand dollar bill.

"Okay, come on Jav." Jayla opened the door and got out with Jav behind her. They walked into the gas station while CiCi walked towards the car.

She walked slowly, taking her time and trying not to look at the car.

Once she finally got in the front seat she mummbled a small 'evening' and closed the door.

"Wham?" I asked her and she shook her head.

"Yuh neva tell mi seh yuh did a bring yuh siblings." She said turning her head to look at me.

"Yave a problem wid dat?" I asked and she shook her head. "Ok den, nun nuh wrong if mi bring dem."

"Oh." She mummbled then held down her head.

I looked at her and sighed before asking, "Wham to yuh? Wah deh pon yuh mind?"

"Mi feel like yuh nuh interested inna mi, like..yuh naah put out no effort, or show no effort." She said and I mentally hissed.

"Listen, if mi neva interest, mi wouldn't deh yah right now. Dats why mi still deh yah, mi just nuh affectionate like dat." I said looking at her. "Suh nuh feel no way, a jus suh mi stay."

She hummed, "Oh ye, mi seh dat fi true. Suh when dat go happen?"

I shrugged.

"Ok, just mek mi know." She said and I nod, looking back out the window to see my siblings walking out of the gas station.

Lowkey hate gyal like dis eno..like uh nuh ave no ambition.

"Waah sumo, or drop yuh home?" I asked.

"Jus drop mi home." She folded her arms across her chest.

Wah shi vex bout now. Nuh care eno, woman too sometime-ish. Dats why mino want no relationship.

Hearing my phone ring, I took it out of my pocket and looked at the caller ID to see Brianna was calling.

I answered and put the phone at my ears.

"Yo." I said first.

"Dutty bwoy mi ave mix up fi tell yuh!" She said excitedly.

"Noya mi nuh deh home." I said then heard her hiss.

Noya is the nickname I made up for her from her middle name 'Shanoya', because I didn't want to call her what everybody else was.

"And mi jus did ago tell yuh fi come ova yard eno. Cho, when yuh reach home back mi tell yuh. And mi did really waah tell smady right now eno." She complained before hanging up in my ears.
