Summary

|PART ONE: 17,019 · VERY OLD SECOND DRAFT| Have you ever wanted to see where life first began? Meet Daniel Matton, a legendary adventurer who ventured to the past, present, and future in a starship known as PPMC by traveling through a black hole, wormhole, and white hole. Now, did he want to be the star of the PPMC Project? Heck no, but he loved paleontology. However, things never go according to plan, and he experienced things well beyond our imagination: volcanic eruptions, eight-foot-long millipedes, man-eating dinosaurs, terrifying saber-toothed cats, and above all, disaster. He did not sign up for that! What the heck, 17,019 Greenville, South Carolina? It may sound like a suicide mission, but it's not. Dan's story is different. It's a chronicle of survival-one worth writing down to share with the world: a tale of love, friendship, horror, and letting go of the past (not to mention escaping all those insane, prehistoric animals who kept trying to turn him into the blue-plate special). Still, Dan's love for paleontology didn't save him when he died. And all he could ask himself was, "Will I rise?" *** *Enjoy the cringe with one of my most iconic characters, Daniel Matton!*

Prologue

Wormholes have captured people’s imagination for decades. Theories state that if somehow, someone manages to enter a black hole without being spaghettified, then they will travel through a wormhole, get spit out of a white hole, and go time traveling. Other theories define a wormhole as a “passageway in space”, meaning that if someone passes through one, then they will be able to visit every corner of the galaxy. No matter how many studies are done and how many theories are made, one question remains. “Are wormholes real, or are they just a figment of a person’s imagination?” Well, in the year 17,019, 15,000 after 2019, Benjamin (Ben) E. Matton, a well-known astronaut from Greenville, South Carolina, answered that question. Wormholes, white holes, light speed, and time traveling were real, or at least, Benjamin was certain they were. To prove his theory, he sent his only son, seventeen year old Daniel (Dan) Matton, into space to be devoured by a black hole deep in the Milky Way. Dan Matton not only took a trip through space; he took a trip through the past, present, and future, and today, we’re going to be hearing his story, and how he changed the world forever. Stay tuned.
