True meaning of perfection
" This book made me pause and rethink everything I knew about warriors. To me, the weight of life and death is measured by how they serve righteousness and dharma. The beauty of finding one's rhythm only truly exists when it assists a greater cause. The way the author explains the concept of perfection in such simple words, channeled through the life of a warrior, is deeply profound. This is a book I will return to again and again—especially on the days when I feel lost, or when I feel like I am not enough. I simply needed to express my immense gratitude to the author for this short, moving, and beautiful story. --- "
Peakkk
"This story genuinely surprised me. Although it seemed a little slow at first, I soon realized that it hides some very meaningful messages beneath its surface. It gave me a lot to think about, and it is also beautifully written, especially in the way it captures the atmosphere of Japan. It also made me curious to learn more about Miyamoto Musashi and his life. I’ve always been interested in Japan and this particular period of its history, so that aspect made the story even more enjoyable for me. But I think the best part is what remains after you finish reading. The story leaves you with many interesting philosophical questions about perfection, ambition, purpose, and what we may sacrifice in pursuit of an ideal. It is the kind of story that stays in your mind and makes you reflect on its meaning afterward. I definitely recommend it. It is beautifully written, thought-provoking, and carries messages that are worth thinking about long after the final line."
The swordsman who thirsted for perfection
"This is a short but incredible story, it’s written extremely well and the voice of it speaks right to you. It’s about a swordsmen who tries to be perfect, but as I’ve learned myself perfect isn’t necessarily a thing it’s concept we all wish to become, and the swordsman finally makes peace with that. Though I haven’t yet lol! Anyway this story is really good, and I think that if you like a powerful writing style that speaks to you, and a character that’s trying to figure things out you’ll love it!! Please give it a read, the author would really appreciate it, plus he’s a sweet heart and really nice to talk to so if nothing else read and then comment and you can talk to him!!! But amazing story, 10/10!!"
A short glimpse
"Not so much a story, as a short glimpse into the swordsman's strife for perfection. Beautifully written, with the proper respect for the philosophy that lies behind real swordsmanship."
