You kept me in Chapters 2–3 with the fallout. By the end of Chapter 3, I wasn’t reading for the plot twist; I was reading because I needed to know if two tired people would choose each other over the system. Is this just me, or is the entire story this special? It is so well-written, with compelling plots and active characters. I don’t think I have ever fallen in love with a story like this before! By Chapter 50, you didn’t give me a big battle. You gave me two billion people painting one dot. Somehow, that hit harder than any war scene could. This is the ending of a story that trusted its readers, and it paid off. Plot - 10/10 The structure is tight. Every chapter raises the stakes, answering one question while asking two new ones. Character Development - 10/10 This is your strongest point. Mira: Starts as a sarcastic thief, and by Chapter 3, she is someone choosing community over safety. Her scar being a "battery" for stolen color is a brilliant physical metaphor for trauma and purpose. Dorian: The best part. You didn’t make him "secretly good" from page one; you made him gray. Rule-bound. Tired. And then you let him crack 0.02% at a time. Through the report format in Ch 2, the "3 options" list, and the scanner beep, we watch a man deprogram in real time. Story Structure - 10/10 You are alternating POV and pace perfectly: Fast → Slow → Fast; Action → Bureaucracy → Intimacy. The em dashes and short lines give it a YA/graphic novel rhythm that reads beautifully on a phone. Writing Style - 10/10 Your prose is sensory and specific. You write like a poet who learned to plot. The dialogue is professional. Technical Writing Skills - 10/10 Grammar, punctuation, and tense are all clean. Your use of italics for thoughts and emphasis works well, and the report and text message formatting are professional."
