Summary

Nobody ever answered when she knocked. Not the caseworkers who misspelled her name. Not the foster homes that cycled her through like returned furniture. Not the system that was supposed to protect her and never once bothered to try. So she found someone who did: a green-haired stranger in a torn comic book, laughing at a world that had never once laughed with her. She calls herself The Punster. She leaves riddles with her victims, stages her kills like comic panels, and talks to her idols like they're standing right beside her — because one day, they are. When an abandoned comic shop pulls her bodily into Gotham, she doesn't find a fantasy. She finds a family — the Joker and Harley Quinn, waiting, laughing, exactly as she always imagined them. Together they tear through Gotham's underworld leaving chaos, blood, and bad jokes in their wake, while a city's detectives, a wounded rival, and the Dark Knight himself close in from every side. But some doors, once they finally open, don't close again. This is not a rescue story. This is a coronation.
