Chapter 1.

PROLOGUE

“ Arieon!” a soft voice, muffled by panic and filled with terror rang into the dark rose valley, little Arieon- barely 7 in vampire ages- stopped walking. His hand pauses into the rose stem while his sapphire dark eyes turn to the female figure running towards him.

“ Cev?, what's wrong?” Arieon asks softly ( trying his best to ignore how his sister's breaths were shallow), his feet instinctively walking into the direction of his crying sister who seemed to be torn by agony and was running towards him.

“ Mother is dying- come with me,” Celestia's delicate face was red by the heavy painful sobs which were too much for her small body. Even if she was Arieon's elder sister, she was a child herself.

“ What?!” Arieon's steady guards was left shaken by the agonizing words of his sister, his feet instinctively moving in a hurried pace towards his sobbing sister.

“ Y-yeah, Father is saying he is not going to leave the realm council and does not want to concern himself with mother,” Celestia's voice was shaking while her eyes were fixed into the red- purple mark on her brother's cheek, a silent acknowledgement to their father's rough nature towards them.

Little Arieon felt his own vision blur with tears as he asks in an odd, calm yet trembling voice,

“ What about all the higher healers? Father can't let mother die like this!, what- what about the baby in her womb!” Arieon grasped his sister's shoulders- though his intentions were to comfort her, the sudden panic surging onto his nerves said something else.

“ Everyone has failed, she's trying, but she, she c-can’t. Come with me, we need to see her-”

Celestia followed as Arieon was already running towards the Palace Dark Blood, not giving time for his sister to even finish her sentence…

The kids loved their mother, with her death, their soul died as well… leaving empty hollow bodies that kept breathing,

Running in clear agony and rush, Ariron didn't stop even when the worried butler and high guards tried to stop their young Master. Practically trying to shield him from a view that could ruin his whole life- seeing his own mother dying.

“ LET ME GO!!!” Celestia screamed, her tears threatening to pull her into unconsciousness as her eyes were lidded with the weight of agony and silent resistance.

Ariron used the forbidden magic on the guards to trick their brains, taking advantage to rush into his mother's room-

A painful scream tore through gasps and struggles.

It was Arieon's mother. Struggling in labour. Already having lost her will and stamina. The child was still inside her.

Healers were struggling, midwives were so hopeless they started praying.

Arieon's legs almost gave up at the sight, his heart hammering in his chest as his trembling body reached to his dying mother who managed to glance at Arieon… her own tears spilling as a violently shaking hand settled into his bruised cheek.

Poor little Boy.

Amaaya’s pale blue lips gave her son a last smile- meant to fill his heart with hope,

“ M-my dear boy... Become so powerful that they won't be able to hunt you again.” She'd whisper a last time, a last shaky breath, before her body and soul gave in to the eternal darkness of death. Ariron broken into sobs. Heavy ones which consumed him for almost eternity… Clinging to his mother's lifeless hand as if it was the only real thing that existed in his world…

Become so powerful that they won't be able to hunt you again.

At the time when Celestia's managed to rush in,

Ariron quietly kissed the back of his mother's hand. No sign of grief in the depth of those eyes. Just a quiet acceptance driven by purpose…

“ What… what happened to her…” Celestia was shaking.

“ Gone. Let her rest, Cev” Arieon replied softly.

Healers bowed silently. Guards remained unmoving.

Arieon got punished by his Father for using the forbidden magic.

But nothing was the same afterwards.
