Good premise bad execution

"I liked the idea of this story and it started well. The writer has a good style and I was starting to like the characters. But it felt rushed, lots of sudden developments where they seemed to know huge things about each other but no conversation or time had passed to allow the development. It also got rather ridiculous in places. I get that they’re meant to be rich and powerful but some of the things they had access to and were able to do without any planning were just silly. Like having total control over the head of the school as a student no matter how rich your parents are is unrealistic. "
