Lucy POV:

New place, new school I guess!

First day almost 18 and all I can think about in all this change is how me and dad just left to go to a new city across the world and why?

New Zealand. A place I do not know and I have never been before in my life.

Here I am my first day at school at chestnut Secondary. What a place so different from home and boarding school.

My mind keep going back to Freya how she is doing? What is she doing?

Why have I not heard from her after I sent her so many texts. Calls and nothing. She is my sister how can she be ignoring me well maybe it has something to do in the kitchen with what I saw with her and aunt Neve.

It looked like magic I mean laugh in my head when I say that because magic does not exists I can't I mean this is life and that kind of element to it does not exist.

Anyway here I am as dad said "This is where we will be from now, a new life my sweet girl."

Whatever that means I do not know, I mean he does not have to face a new school in his final year I do with no friends.

I mean it is strange going from boarding school to this chaos.

I hope I get use to it, I have been strictly told I can only apply for universities in New Zealand no where else like what is that.

He even gave me a list

University of Auckland, Universty of OtagoVictoria University of WellingtonUniversity of CanterburyMassey UniversityUniversity of WaikatoLincoln UniversityAuckland University of Technology.

I mean this list is long and I am pretty sure I will have to do this school year all over again because of my grades, getting kicked out of boarding school which is a joke because it was not even my fault a such it was hers.

Anyway hear I go off to my first class maths fun.

A full day of classes and the bell ringing was giving me a blasting headache.

Though a girl keeps looking at me and I am unsure to why that is! I heard her name though she seems to be in the popular group Sage like their leader.

They seem like such a pack together her and the rest of her followers I call them.

Like a pack of wolves joking off course not! no such thing anyway why she keeps looking at me I do not know.

I am starting to worry I become the school push over perhaps even an easy target because the day has gone by I have made no friends yet. I even sat alone at lunch in the bench just reading and I looked up here and there and I saw she kept watching me.

I do not understand why she keeps looking at me ! staring like she is staring at my soul with those green eyes.

I can not lie I mean she is cute however I need to be careful, I don't know how they take to being gay here. Or if they even care!

I have not looked at the culture here in New Zealand if they are more relax.

My first experience was shit at boarding school cost me getting kicked out because of my ex girlfriend.

I mean I am dress girly or code word for straight.

Anyway but is here I need to get home to my dad.

I still have so many questions to why we moved sudden and why Freya did not come with us.

Now I have even more questions to why I have not heard from her.

A good start for Lucy, even though she hasn't made friends yet. Looks like she might have met a female alpha with green eyes. 🐺

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
