"On a Whim was such a delightful read.The author used a fresh writing style to depict an amazing part of modern young adults' lives. The dialogue is witty and smart. The characters are very interesting and I enjoyed how they all had their own voice, and not to mention the feeling of actually knowing them while reading about them. The story had a good rythm and a lot of emotional development without making the story too busy. I think the author is a very talented writer and I will definitely read his other books too! "

"If you like college stories, this one is awesome for you, if you like alterating POVs, you've just hit the jackpot!!! I personally prefer different genre, and yet, reading On A Whim was extremely entertaining, engaging, suspensful and fun! Not only it has a lovely story of two very smart and profound people finding their way to each other, but it also tells of fraternity and sorority intricacies. Painting a much wider picture. The story reads like a breeze and leaves you with a pleasant, heartwarming feeling. True, some parts are a little too fast paced and some stories are told too shortly, some may appreciate a fast forward to more relevant bits☺️ Overall, great work and much recommended for a light reading, though if you ever want more, there IS sooo much more to come in parallel stories 😉😘"
I binged this one!
"This was such a fun, quick read! Malik, a member of the JETs fraternity, falls for Kim, president of the COREs sorority. They do not seem like they belong together - him with his mohawk and her with her popularity, but they are drawn to one another anyway. The story alternates between Malik and Kim's POVs, and that was probably my favorite part. I loved getting inside both of their heads and hearing what each of them was thinking as everything unfolded. Their inner thoughts had me laughing throughout the story! As I said, this story was incredibly easy to binge. It was funny, lighthearted, and kept me entertained from beginning to end. I highly recommend this to everyone needing cheering up."

"I really enjoyed this! I loved getting perspectives from both main characters, it added so much dimension to the storytelling compared to just sticking to one point of view. It’s honestly impossible not to love these characters and how they navigate their attraction and its repercussions. Also, as a fan, I absolutely loved catching all the Easter eggs from No Regrets! Overall, this was such a nice, heartwarming read. It’s perfect for a lazy weekend or a quiet night in with a cup of coffee (or your drink of choice) in hand. Highly recommend!"

Malik and Kim grabbed my attention from their very first interaction and never let go. Both of them feel refreshingly grounded, authentic, and easy to root for. Malik’s quiet vulnerability behind his alternative exterior makes him instantly endearing, while Kim shatters typical sorority-leader stereotypes by being sharp, proactive, and wonderfully approachable once her guard is down. Their dual-POV dynamic works like a charm, especially when playing with dramatic irony—watching them mentally spiral while trying to project total cool in front of each other made for fantastic comedic timing. The romantic progression feels completely earned. The intimacy and spice are handled with great balance: sensual and emotionally believable without veering into gratuitous or graphic territory. Every intimate beat serves their connection and pushes their relationship forward. Technically, the writing is spot-on. The prose is clean, dialogue flows naturally, and the breezy collegiate voice suits the narrative perfectly. Pacing never drags for a second, moving smoothly from party banter to cozy sick-day caretaking, right up to a finale that lands like a warm hug. A truly enjoyable, heartwarming read from start to finish. Highly recommended!"

"A wonderful story—light, funny, and heartwarming. What could be more beautiful than watching two people fall in love? Maybe only getting to experience that love from both his and her perspectives, which had me smiling and laughing through practically every chapter. 😂❤️ I loved reading their inner monologues and seeing how perfectly they complemented each other, especially when their thoughts matched—or completely clashed—with their reactions. Two complete opposites were drawn to each other in the most wonderful way, and from there, everything seemed to become colored by love. 🥰 I had such a wonderful time reading their story, and I had a smile on my face almost the entire time. If you want to immerse yourself in that feeling of falling in love—the feeling most of us have experienced at least once in our lives—I definitely recommend giving this story a read. ❤️"
