What is your opinion?

It won over the whole household—including the skeptical wife

"Full disclosure: the author is my husband, so yes, this review is biased. But that is also why I can say this honestly: I watched The Monk & The Witch grow from a project that kept stealing his time into a story that won over our whole household. For more than a year, Rishi and Maeril have been an almost daily presence in our lives. At first, I was mostly annoyed by how much time my husband spent working on the saga—on his computer, on his phone, everywhere. Then our children and I began hearing the chapters, getting to know the characters, asking questions, and wondering what would happen next. Somewhere along the way, his project became our story too. We have listened to every chapter released so far, and all three of us look forward to the next one. My younger son, especially, is always asking his father about the characters, the world, and what might be coming. I have seen firsthand how much care, dedication, and heart my husband has poured into this saga. But effort alone would not have made us care about Rishi and Maeril. The story did that. So, five stars from the author’s wife? Absolutely biased. But also honestly given. Mercy and Wards turned the people closest to its creation into an eager audience, and we cannot wait to discover where Rishi and Maeril’s journey takes us next."
