"I really loved this. Elion is such an interesting character because he can be charming, arrogant, funny and absolutely terrible at dealing with his own feelings, sometimes all within the same scene 😭 His history with Mattyas was easily my favourite part. There’s so much left unsaid between them that even their arguments feel intimate, and the slow realization of what they actually mean to each other genuinely hurt. I also really liked Primordia as a setting. The magic and politics are interesting, but they never take over the characters, which made the story really easy to get invested in. Definitely one of those stories where I kept thinking “just TALK to each other” while also knowing that if they did, there wouldn’t be nearly as much pain 😂 Can’t wait to read more! "
