Summary

Bictorika es una joven difícil de comprender. Su vida se reconstruye a partir de los textos que ella misma escribió: fragmentos íntimos, confesiones y recuerdos que nunca estuvieron pensados para ser leídos por nadie más. Lo que emerge es el retrato de una vida social y amorosa que se aleja de cualquier idea de normalidad. Bictorika no pide ser comprendida ni perdonada; solo cuenta lo que vivió, con una honestidad que incomoda tanto como fascina. Una narradora que no se disculpa por lo que es, y una historia que se arma pieza por pieza, como quien junta las páginas sueltas de una vida que insistió en escribirse a sí misma.

Prólogo

Me llamo Bictorika. Sí, con «B»; a mis padres les pareció buena idea.

Este libro es una reorganización de mis textos. Siempre me gustó escribir, pero no soy buena en ello. No lo fui antes y probablemente no lo seré ahora. Si esta historia les entretiene o no, me tiene sin cuidado. Lo he hecho por intereses propios, aunque aun así trataré de hacerlo bien para cuando quien sí me interesa lo lea.

Perdonen si encuentran por ahí textos extraños. Al igual que a Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a ambos nos interrumpieron nuestras carreras artísticas.

También deseo confesar que tengo problemas mentales. Los he tenido toda la vida, o eso creo. Eso de que los locos no saben que están locos es una mentira.

Bien, si aun sabiendo todo esto desean leer algo de mi historia y de mis motivos para escribirla, adelante.

Tal vez tú y yo estemos igual de locos.
