Chapter 1
We meet at a quiet café in Paris like it's the most normal thing in the world.
You've been reading every filthy message I sent for weeks and never admitted it.
I spot you first and walk over.
"Amelia?" I say, voice a little lower than usual.
You look up, a soft nervous smile already forming. "Kilian... hi."
We both sit. For a second neither of us knows what to say. You're adjusting your glasses, I'm trying not to stare too hard.
"I wasn't sure you'd actually come," I admit.
You let out a quiet breath that might be a laugh. "I wasn't sure either."
Before either of us can say more, the bartender appears beside the table.
"What can I get you two?"
We order quickly, you a cappaciuno, me espresspo and the moment he leaves the air feels thicker again..
Now you're sitting across from me, fingers wrapped around your cup, glasses slightly fogged from the warm drink, eyes flicking up to mine and then quickly away.
You're even prettier in person. Softer. A little shy.
I catch you biting your lip when I smile and it makes my cock twitch under the table.
The conversation starts light - awkward small talk, nervous laughs, you adjusting your glasses and tucking your hair behind your ear every thirty seconds.
There's this thick, unspoken tension between us. Every time our eyes lock a second too long you look down, cheeks turning pink. I can tell you're thinking about all the things I said I'd do to you.
When we finally leave, you walk close enough that our arms brush. Neither of us says anything about it.
By the time we reach my place the air feels heavier than ever.
The door closes.
