Who is owner

It was around six in the morning when the doorbell rang. A few moments later, the gates opened, and a car slowly drove in and came to a halt. Hearing the sound of the car, Neha, who was fast asleep, opened her eyes.

Neha, "Oh, looks like the owner has arrived." She said to herself and quickly hurried downstairs. Upon reaching downstairs, she saw the car parked, but she couldn't figure out who had gotten out and gone inside.

Neha, "Didi, has the owner arrived?" Neha asked, waiting for Didi's reply. Pg staff, "Yes, the owner has arrived. He just went to his room. Did you come down to see him?" Neha smiled and shook her head in refusal.

Neha got ready for college and came downstairs, but even then, the owner was still inside his room. Seeing this, Neha left for college.

All the students had arrived in the classroom, and a little later, the teacher entered.

"Good morning, sir!" "Good morning, guys. Come on, everyone takes your seats. Before starting the class, let me introduce myself. I am Dr. Arav Singh, and I am also your class coordinator." While the teacher was introducing himself, Neha's eyes fell upon a boy in the class who was sitting five seats away from her in the same row.

The boy was sitting quietly. His eyes scanned the classroom environment. His attention was more on his surroundings than on the teacher's words. Suddenly, he looked toward Neha, who was still staring at him. As soon as the boy looked at Neha, she immediately averted her eyes and started listening to the teacher again.

"Hi, my name is Priyanka, and yours?" Neha: "Neha Sharma." Priyanka: "Oh, nice. And... where are you from?" Neha: "From Sonipat." For a few moments, Priyanka remained quiet, but then another question popped into her mind. "Do you stay in a PG or a hostel?" Neha: "I stay in a PG." Saying this, both fell silent and began listening to the teacher.

As the class was about to end, the teacher started taking attendance. The teacher called out the students' names one by one, and the students called out "Present, sir" to mark their attendance. "Gautam Kumar" - "Present, sir." "Mayank Tripathi" - "Present, sir." "Neha Sharma" - "Present, sir." "Nirav Sharma" - "Present, sir." Neha heard that boy call out "Present" for Nirav. "Oh, so he is Nirav. Hmm, whatever," Neha thought to herself and started listening to the rest of the students' names. The attendance ended, and Dr. Arav Singh left the classroom. The next lecture was about to start. Before any teacher could enter the classroom, the seniors walked in. "Freshers...!"

As soon as it struck four in the afternoon, college ended for the day. Students started leaving for their hostels, PGs, and homes. Nirav walked out of the college. As he walked, his eyes fell upon the students passing by. Suddenly he stopped, and after thinking for a moment, he headed in another direction within the campus. Neha, who was walking behind him, caught a glimpse of him for a second. She noticed Nirav turning the other way, but the very next moment, she smiled at something Priyanka said and moved forward as well. The two of them walked out of the campus while talking, and after walking together for a short distance, they turned toward their respective routes.

Upon reaching the PG, Neha first looked toward the door of the owner's room as soon as she entered. It was closed. She then walked toward the kitchen.

Neha, "Didi, is there something cold to eat? But something... ahh... spicy?" The PG cook, whom Neha called Didi, showed Neha a packet and asked, "Will you have Bhelpuri?" Neha, "Yes... well... alright, give me that" Neha said and headed upstairs, looking back at the owner's room once again.

Neha had just changed her clothes and stepped out of the washroom when her phone rang. Aditi Calling... She answered the call. Neha: "Hello... Aditi: "Hey madam! How was the first day of college?" Neha smiled and walking slowly around the room, said, "It was good... everyone was new. I was a bit nervous, but now it feels fine."

While they were talking, there was a knock on the door. Neha, "Hold on for a minute, someone is at the door." The kitchen cook was standing there with a bowl of Bhelpuri in her hand. "Here is your Bhelpuri, Didi." Neha gave a slight smile, "Thank you, Didi." Taking the bowl, she got back on the phone. Neha: "Yaar, this PG... it's really good. The staff is also very caring." Aditi asked, "Oh really? And what else happened?"

Neha, eating the Bhelpuri, said, "Umm, well yaar... in class... there was this guy..." Aditi teased her, "Ohooo, a guy...!" Neha said, "Hey, listen first, do your 'ohoo' later! Yaar, I mean, the guy's name is Nirav Sharma." Aditi teased again, "Ohoo, both Sharma Sharma! What's the matter, girl...!" Neha laughed a little and said, "Hey, don't twist the story. Yaar, he was behaving a bit weirdly. I mean, he was giving everyone unnecessary smiles, and then suddenly he did the same looking at me. And despite being so tall, he was sitting right at the front. What an idiot...!"

Neha continued, "But yaar, he sings really well." Aditi asked in surprise, "Sings? When did he sing for you?" Neha said, "Oh, during the next lecture. The seniors came in before the next teacher could arrive. At first, I was a bit scared. I thought, 'Great, ragging is starting on the very first day.' But they didn't do anything like that." Aditi asked, "Really? Then what happened?"

Neha said, "They came in and said, 'Freshers... how are you all?' Then they said, 'We are here to interact with you.' So, we all introduced ourselves one by one." "After that, a senior asked, 'Does anyone know how to sing here?'" "Then Nirav raised his hand and said, 'I do.'" Aditi asked, "Really? Which song did he sing?" Neha replied, "'Uska Hi Banana'."

It was now nighttime. The staff asked everyone to come down to the dining hall near the kitchen for dinner. Everyone picked their favorite food and started eating.

Just then, the door to the owner's room opened. Seeing the owner come out, the staff called out,

"Sir, will you have dinner in your room or at the dining table?"

Hearing this, Neha's eyes darted toward the dining hall entrance, and she began watching intently while eating. The owner told the staff, "I'll eat at the dining table," and saying this, he stepped inside through the dining hall door.

The moment Neha saw the owner, she was shocked and started coughing. The girl sitting next to her handed her a glass of water. Startled by this sudden commotion, the owner also stopped near the door and looked at her. Neha drank a few sips of water, but her eyes were still fixed on the owner. After gaining control of her cough, she hurriedly got up from her seat and walked toward the door. While passing through the door, she looked at the owner, gave an awkward smile, and said hesitatingly,

"Aa... hi..."

Saying just that, she walked quickly toward her room without stopping.

As soon as Neha closed her room door, she called Aditi. Until Aditi picked up the call, Neha paced around restlessly. Aditi answered the call, and Neha burst out, "Yaar, you won't believe what just happened!"

Aditi (in a sleepy voice): "What... happened?" Neha: "Yaar, I just saw the owner... that's Nirav! Oh my God... Nirav, the boy from my class... him! God... I still can't believe it." Aditi (half-asleep): "Okay... cool... have fun. Bye." Saying this, Aditi hung up the call. Neha, with a blank expression, said, "She hung up on me..."

Then, closing her eyes, she smiled faintly.

The next moment, she couldn't control her excitement. Jumping up slightly, she whispered- "Yes!... Yes!" Just then, the room door opened and her roommate walked in. Neha stopped instantly. Feeling awkward, she tried to fumble for words- "Ahh... well... aa..."

The roommate looked at her and, without thinking twice, said- "Yeah... okay, okay. No problem." And she lay down on her bed.

Neha tightly pursed her lips, trying to hide her smile. Then, nodding her head slightly, she smiled gently.

the chapter is good. a small advice. having the paragraphs in smaller chunks would be easy to read. especially at the starting of dialogue. it helps with readers retention. I also recieved this suggestion at the beginning of my journey.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
