Chapter 1 The night of three legends

Rise of Power

Aditya is an ordinary young man who is a kickboxer. So far, he has fought 31 matches, with 19 wins and 12 losses.

One night, it is Aditya’s birthday. He invites all of his friends to his house for a birthday party. Among them are his two best friends, Rudra and Anmol.

As soon as Anmol arrives, he looks around for the birthday cake.

Anmol: “Where’s the cake? Come on, let’s shake hands first. Then I’ll say, ‘Happy Birthday, Abhishek!’”

Rudra: “Why did I even come here with this idiot? His name is Aditya! ‘Abhishek’ is his father’s name!”

Everyone at the party bursts out laughing.

Anmol: “Oh, sorry! I made a mistake.”

Aditya: “You guys are still the same as you were before. You haven’t changed at all, my friends.”

Rudra: “Yeah, bro. You haven’t changed either. I’m still looking at the same old Aditya—the kickboxer who was always challenging me.”

Aditya: “Oh, really? You weren’t any different. You never backed down either, my boxing champion.”

Rudra suddenly looks around and asks:

Rudra: “By the way, where are our fathers?”

Aditya: “Why are you worried? Did you forget who our fathers are?”

Rudra: “Yeah, I know. I was just asking.”

Aditya: “They probably went out somewhere. Who knows where they are? Anyway, our fathers are always busy working. They hardly even get time to exercise.”

Rudra: “Hmm… I see. Got it.”

Aditya: “Yeah.”

It was late at night.

Aditya's birthday celebration was still going on at home. Music, laughter, and conversations filled the house.

But somewhere far away, three men were walking through a dark forest.

Dev. Abhishek. Aman.

Three legends.

Three fathers.

Three completely different fighting styles.

They eventually reached a quiet clearing surrounded by tall trees. Moonlight passed through the branches and illuminated the ground.

Dev removed his jacket.

Abhishek stretched his shoulders.

Aman smiled.

Aman: “It's been a long time since the three of us fought together.”

Dev: “Not together.”

He looked at the other two.

Dev: “Against each other.”

Abhishek smiled.

Abhishek: “No anger. No ego. Just practice.”

Aman raised his fists.

Aman: “Then let's see who still has it.”

They stepped into the clearing.

ROUND ONE

The three legends moved cautiously.

Dev stood in a classic boxing stance, his eyes focused and his movements controlled.

Abhishek kept his distance, constantly shifting his weight and watching both opponents.

Aman moved differently. His stance was unpredictable, constantly changing.

Suddenly—

Dev moved first.

He advanced with a quick boxing combination.

Abhishek slipped away from the attack and answered with a controlled kick.

Dev moved back just in time.

Aman suddenly entered between them.

Aman: “Don't forget about me!”

Dev turned toward him.

Aman attacked.

Dev defended and moved sideways, while Abhishek circled around them.

For several moments, the clearing became a blur of movement.

Punches.

Kicks.

Footwork.

Blocks.

Counters.

Nobody was getting an easy advantage.

ROUND TWO

Dev's experience began to show.

His movements were economical. Every step had a purpose.

He pressured Abhishek with combinations, forcing him backward.

Abhishek remained calm.

Instead of meeting Dev's strength directly, he used movement and distance.

A sudden kick forced Dev to retreat.

Aman watched them carefully.

Then he laughed.

Aman: “You two are getting serious.”

He rushed forward.

Dev and Abhishek separated.

Aman attacked Dev while Abhishek moved around them.

Dev defended himself and countered, forcing Aman to step away.

For a moment, all three stopped.

They stared at each other.

Then—

all three smiled.

FINAL EXCHANGE

The moon was high above the trees.

Their breathing had become heavier.

But none of them wanted to stop.

Dev raised his fists.

Abhishek settled into his stance.

Aman lowered his center of gravity.

Dev: “Last exchange?”

Abhishek: “Last exchange.”

Aman: “Let's make it memorable.”

They moved at the same time.

Dev's boxing collided with Abhishek's kickboxing.

Aman's unpredictable movement disrupted both of them.

The three legends exchanged attacks and defenses across the clearing, each displaying the style that had made their names famous.

Dev's Iron Judgment.

Abhishek's Storm Breaker.

Aman's Wolf's Fury.

But none of them truly won.

At the final moment, all three stopped.

Silence returned to the forest.

Dev laughed.

Dev: “Still evenly matched.”

Abhishek nodded.

Abhishek: “Maybe that's why we became legends.”

Aman looked toward the moon.

Aman: “Our sons have no idea what they're going to discover.”

Dev looked at him.

Dev: “Their journey hasn't even truly begun.”

The three men walked away from the clearing.

Meanwhile, back at Aditya's birthday party, nobody knew where they had gone.

And nobody knew that three legends had just awakened an old rivalry.

THE RISE OF POWER

Chapter: The Night of the Three

“Arey, where’s the cake?” Anmol asked again, looking around impatiently.

Rudra shook his head.

Rudra: “Sala…”

Aditya burst out laughing.

Aditya: “Hahaha! Fine, fine. I’ll give you the cake.”

Aditya brought the cake out, and everyone gathered around. After cutting the cake and celebrating, the friends settled down around the house.

Some sat on the bed.

Some took chairs.

A few simply sat wherever they could find a place.

The party continued with laughter, music, and conversations.

But after some time, Rudra quietly stepped outside.

The night was peaceful.

He stood under the open sky, looking up at the stars while slowly drinking his beer.

Inside the house, Aditya was relaxing with Anmol, talking and laughing.

A few girls from the party noticed Rudra standing outside. They came near the doorway and watched him from a distance.

They seemed impressed by his calm and confident presence.

Suddenly, a boy named Vivek appeared.

He had clearly drunk too much and was struggling to keep himself steady.

Vivek looked toward the girls.

Vivek: “Hey, girls! How are you? Look at me too! I'm handsome as well!”

The girls looked annoyed.

Girl: “Vivek, shut up! We're here to look at Rudra. Just leave us alone.”

Another girl added:

Girl: “Yeah, Vivek. Go inside.”

Vivek's expression changed.

He stared at Rudra from a distance.

Vivek's thoughts: So this Rudra thinks he's something special? Just because he beat a few people in boxing, he thinks he's a champion. I'll teach him a lesson.

The girls started walking back inside.

Aditya noticed Vivek but remained silent, watching him carefully.

Vivek quietly picked up a beer bottle.

He moved toward Rudra from behind, trying not to make a sound.

He raised the bottle.

Just before he could do anything, Rudra spoke without even turning around.

Rudra: “Have you ever actually fought someone before?”

Vivek froze.

His hand stopped in midair.

He was shocked.

For a moment, fear crossed his face.

But his pride pushed him forward.

Vivek: “Y-Yeah! Of course!”

He swung the bottle and struck Rudra.

The sound immediately caught everyone's attention.

People who had gone inside came rushing back.

Aditya and Anmol also appeared.

Everyone stared in shock.

Aditya: “What the hell did Vivek just do?”

Anmol started laughing.

Vivek raised his arms proudly.

Vivek: “Hahaha! Did you see that?! I actually hit Rudra! I hit him with a beer bottle!”

He laughed loudly.

Then his voice suddenly faded.

“...Huh?”

Vivek slowly looked at Rudra.

Rudra hadn't moved.

He was still standing exactly where he had been.

The entire group went silent.

Rudra slowly turned toward Vivek.

His expression remained completely calm.

Rudra: “Have you ever actually fought someone before?”

Vivek couldn't answer.

He stared at Rudra as though he were standing in front of something far more dangerous than he had expected.

Vivek's confidence disappeared.

Vivek: “S-Somebody help me!”

He began backing away.

Vivek: “Help! He's going to beat me!”

Rudra simply looked at him.

That was enough.

Vivek stumbled backward, fell onto the floor, and quickly crawled underneath the bed.

Everyone burst out laughing.

Anmol could barely control himself.

Even some of the girls covered their mouths while laughing.

But Aditya didn't laugh.

He looked at Rudra seriously.

There was something different about his friend tonight.

Anmol picked up his beer and casually continued drinking while watching Rudra.

Aditya grabbed another bottle and walked toward Vivek.

Vivek was still trembling underneath the bed.

Aditya crouched down and looked at him.

Aditya: “Come out. Nobody's going to hurt you.”

Vivek slowly came out.

Aditya helped him sit on the bed and handed him the beer.

Aditya: “Relax. It's my birthday. Don't ruin the night.”

Vivek looked at Aditya nervously.

Aditya then glanced toward Rudra.

Rudra was still standing outside, looking at the night sky.

Aditya's expression became thoughtful.

Something about Rudra's reaction had caught his attention.

And somewhere far away, beneath the same moonlight, three legendary fathers were walking away from their secret fight in the forest.

None of the three boys knew the truth.

Their fathers weren't ordinary men.

And soon, Aditya, Rudra, and Anmol would discover that their own lives were connected to a legacy far greater than they had ever imagined.

THE RISE OF POWER

Chapter: The Night of the Three

Aditya tried to calm Vivek down.

Aditya: “Relax. Nobody is going to do anything to you. It's my birthday, after all.”

He handed Vivek another beer.

Aditya: “But what you did to Rudra was wrong. You shouldn't have attacked him like that.”

Anmol walked over and heard the conversation.

Anmol: “What do you expect him to understand? If I had been in Rudra's place, I would've beaten you badly enough that you would never forget it.”

Anmol laughed.

Anmol: “But honestly, I already knew Rudra wouldn't do anything to you. That's just not the kind of person he is.”

Anmol then went to get another beer.

Aditya looked at Vivek.

Aditya: “Anmol is right. Rudra isn't that kind of person.”

Vivek swallowed nervously.

Vivek: “But what if I hadn't run away? Maybe he really would have beaten me.”

Aditya: “Uff… Anyway, let me tell you a story about Rudra.”

Vivek: “Okay.”

Aditya leaned back and began telling the story.

---

THE STORY OF RUDRA

Aditya: “One time, I went to watch Rudra fight.”

“I saw his opponent before the match. The guy was huge—almost twice as intimidating as Rudra. Rudra is around 5'7", while his opponent, Yeol, was about 5'9" and much more heavily built.”

“Yeol had a record of 12 fights and 12 wins. He was undefeated.”

“Looking at his physique, I honestly wondered if he was using something to enhance his performance.”

“When Yeol entered the ring, he started showing off his muscles and smiling confidently, waiting for Rudra.”

“Then Rudra entered.”

“He calmly stepped into the ring and took his position.”

“The referee explained the rules to both fighters and signaled for the match to begin.”

The moment the fight started, Yeol laughed.

Yeol: “Oi, little boy! You think you're going to fight me? Hahahaha!”

Rudra remained completely silent.

Yeol continued mocking him.

Yeol: “What happened? You were talking confidently before the fight. Now you've gone quiet? Hahaha!”

Rudra calmly looked at him.

Rudra: “Oi. Have you ever actually fought someone before?”

Yeol stared at him in disbelief.

Yeol: “Are you crazy? What kind of nonsense are you talking about? Looks like you're scared after seeing me!”

He laughed.

Yeol: “I'll even give you one chance. Leave the ring, and I'll let you go!”

Yeol suddenly rushed forward and threw a powerful punch.

Rudra calmly dodged it.

Yeol immediately turned and threw another punch.

Rudra dodged that one too.

Yeol became frustrated.

Yeol: “Oi! What are you doing? Do you think you're some dangerous boxer just because you can dodge?”

He laughed mockingly.

Yeol: “All you can do is dodge? What happened? Got scared?”

Rudra didn't respond.

Yeol charged again.

This time, Rudra stepped forward with his left leg and launched a lead hook with his left hand.

The punch caught Yeol off guard.

Before Yeol could recover, Rudra followed with a rear hook from his right hand, forcing Yeol backward.

Rudra immediately closed the distance and prepared an uppercut.

But Yeol somehow managed to evade it.

Yeol stepped back, completely confused.

Yeol: “What just happened?”

He looked at Rudra.

Yeol: “I don't even understand what happened! I was about to land my punch, but he stopped me with a lead hook, then followed with a rear hook that pushed me backward. That gave him the perfect distance to throw an uppercut.”

Yeol took a breath.

Yeol: “But… what was that feeling? I've never experienced anything like it before.”

Rudra quietly looked at his own hands.

Yeol clenched his fists.

Yeol: “No. I can't lose. I'm undefeated! I'm Yeol!”

He returned to his fighting stance.

His expression became serious.

Yeol: “There's something different about this guy. Something is happening.”

He stared at Rudra.

Yeol: “Why does my body feel like it wants to stay away from him?”

Yeol threw a jab.

Rudra dodged.

Yeol immediately followed with a body shot, but Rudra blocked it.

Yeol then threw a lead hook followed by a cross.

Rudra avoided both attacks.

Yeol attempted to launch another combination.

But Rudra suddenly stepped in and landed a powerful overhand counter.

Yeol staggered backward.

Rudra moved forward.

Yeol expected an uppercut.

He prepared to counter.

But Rudra changed his movement at the last moment.

Vivek: “Then what happened?”

Aditya smiled.

Aditya: “Then he used it.”

Vivek: “Used what?”

Aditya looked at him seriously.

Aditya: “Iron Hammer.”

Vivek's eyes widened.

Aditya: “Rudra's signature move.”

“Rudra's Iron Hammer was a powerful finishing technique. Every opponent who had been caught cleanly by it had been knocked out.”

“When Rudra used it against Yeol, Yeol couldn't understand what had happened.”

As Yeol fell to the ground, he thought:

How did he do that? Rudra looked like he was going for an uppercut… so how did he suddenly change the attack?

Yeol finally understood.

Yeol: “Iron Hammer…”

He took a breath.

Yeol: “So that's the move. A close-range attack that can end a fight instantly if it lands cleanly.”

Rudra walked over, picked up a bucket of water, and poured it over Yeol.

Yeol immediately woke up and looked around in confusion.

He stared at Rudra.

Yeol: “So… I lost?”

Rudra nodded.

Rudra: “You lost. But you're an incredible fighter. I'll remember you, my friend.”

Rudra turned and began walking away.

Yeol suddenly called out.

Yeol: “Oi! Where are you from?”

Rudra continued walking.

Without turning around, he answered:

Rudra: “I'm from Darjeeling.”

Yeol's eyes widened.

Yeol: “Darjeeling…”

---

Aditya finished the story and looked at Vivek.

Aditya: “So, Vivek… now tell me. What do you think Rudra is capable of?”

Vivek stared at Aditya in shock.

Vivek: “I… I… I need to apologize to Rudra.”

Aditya nodded.

Aditya: “That's the right thing to do.”

Vivek slowly looked toward the doorway.

Rudra was still outside, quietly looking at the night sky.

And for the first time that night, Vivek understood something:

Rudra wasn't someone he should have tried to provoke.
