In cooking and cleaning, it’s just petty skills.
I strive to be more, beyond a barely pretty face,
But all they see in me are petty skills.
I love so deeply, my heart aches with care,
Yet all they value are these petty skills.
Useless, they say, in a world moving fast,
Ashamed and berated for my petty skills.
