" I really fell in love with Killian and his desire to save his sister. He didn't seem afraid to step into a warehouse or try anything to get her back. It really shows how much his family means to him. Asher is also connected and very focused. I was shocked to see his red thread in the interrogation room! Honestly, both characters are very interesting and determined people. The plot itself is actually clear and cleanly written. I wasn't lost at all following along, and even with the mysteries, I can make my own theories. Which is the sweet spot. As the book goes on, I hope to see Killian find his sister and his new relationship with Asher foster. Definitely, this story has some hidden surprises I wasn't aware of! "
