Chapter 1— The Morning After the Shutout
《Disclaimer: Jesus Christ, Amin Parker, Mary Parker, and Cassandra Brown are observers of the events depicted in this chapter. Their presence is solely for the purpose of witnessing history as it unfolded. They do not interfere with, alter, or otherwise influence the events they observe.》
The day after the shutout, the quarterback Amin Parker sat whole again beneath the calm gaze of the Lord.
Amin Parker sat upright in his hospital bed, his wrists fully healed. The braces remained around them, but they had become meaningless now, relics of an injury that no longer existed. An IV stand rested beside the bed, and the medical equipment around him remained quiet in the dim hospital room.
There was a peacefulness in the air that was difficult to describe. The room was silent, yet it did not feel empty. There was a presence within it—a holy stillness that seemed to settle over everything.
Jesus Christ stood at the wide hospital window with His back turned toward Amin. Beyond the glass was the Colosseum, its enormous interior visible beneath the soft daylight. The field below was empty, its markings from the Sports Season still clearly visible. The morning after the shutout had arrived quietly, carrying with it a weight that went far beyond the events of the game.
For a moment, neither Amin nor Jesus spoke.
Then the hospital door began to open.
Cassandra Brown carefully peeked her head into the room from the hallway, holding the door slightly open with one hand. Her eyes immediately found her father sitting upright in the bed. Then she noticed the figure standing at the window.
She hesitated.
Her expression shifted between curiosity, uncertainty, and respect as she took in the extraordinary sight before her.
"Dad... can I ask you a question."
Cassandra slowly stepped farther into the room until both of her feet were inside. She stopped there.
She stared directly at Amin and Jesus.
Something about the sight before her left her frozen in place. Awe, confusion, and reverence seemed to compete within her as she tried to comprehend what she was seeing. Jesus remained at the window, still facing outward toward the Colosseum, while Amin calmly looked back at his daughter.
Then Mary Parker entered behind Cassandra.
Mary stepped into the room with her usual gentle, steady presence. She saw Amin sitting upright and healed in the bed. Then she saw the figure standing at the window.
Her eyes widened.
"Oh wow... it's the Lord Jesus Christ."
The room fell silent again.
Jesus slowly turned around.
For the first time, He faced everyone in the room.
Amin remained seated upright in the bed. Cassandra stood near the foot of it, while Mary stood just behind her. Behind Jesus, the wide window framed the Colosseum and the empty field far below.
The entire room seemed to become still.
No one spoke.
The silence itself seemed to carry meaning.
Then Jesus turned back toward the window.
His robe shifted gently as He moved, and the family watched Him in silence.
Jesus approached the glass and raised one hand toward it.
His palm came to rest against the window.
Almost immediately, something subtle began to move around His hand.
It was not an explosion of light, nor anything violent or overwhelming. Instead, a soft supernatural energy began circulating around His palm and fingertips. A faint, circular motion of light seemed to embrace His hand, gently swirling against the glass.
The window reflected the holy glow.
Amin stared.
Cassandra stared.
Mary stared.
None of them moved.
Jesus stood calmly before the window, His left hand pressed flat against the glass while His right hand rested naturally at His side. His entire figure was visible from head to toe. His robe fell naturally around Him in soft folds, and the sash across His torso was clearly visible. His hair rested gently upon His shoulders.
The divine energy continued to circle His hand.
Yet the window itself remained completely intact.
Beyond the glass, the Colosseum could still be seen.
Then the transformation began.
The glass started to dissolve from the center outward.
It did not shatter.
Instead, it faded away like transparent dust disappearing into the air. The edges of the window frame remained solid, but the center gradually became transparent until the glass was almost completely gone.
And beyond it was no ordinary view of the outside world.
The family suddenly found themselves looking out over an immense aerial view of the Colosseum.
The hospital room was not merely positioned beside the arena.
It was part of a sky-level medical suite built high within the Colosseum itself, much like an executive skybox suspended far above the arena floor.
The field below appeared distant and small.
The markings left behind from the Sports Season could still be seen across its empty surface.
Jesus remained standing where the window had been, His hand still extended.
The gentle divine energy continued to swirl around His palm.
Cassandra's eyes widened, and her mouth fell slightly open.
Mary lifted her eyebrows as she stared through the opening.
Amin watched calmly, though even he could not ignore the majesty of what was unfolding before him.
The soft hospital lighting blended with the bright daylight pouring in from outside, filling the room with a strange mixture of earthly and heavenly light.
Then the last remnants of the window disappeared.
There was no glass.
No barrier.
No frame across the center of the opening.
There was only open sky.
Jesus stepped forward.
His right foot moved beyond the room and came to rest upon the empty air.
He was walking on the sky itself.
His left foot remained inside the room for a moment as He continued the motion, his body perfectly balanced several stories above the Colosseum floor.
The wind at that altitude gently moved His robe.
Jesus continued forward as though the air beneath His feet were solid ground.
Far below Him, the Colosseum curved around the empty field. From that height, the enormous arena seemed almost miniature, emphasizing just how far above the ground the hospital suite stood.
Inside the room, Amin watched from his bed.
Cassandra stood closest to the opening, staring directly at Jesus with shock and reverence.
Mary stood behind her, placing one hand gently upon Cassandra's shoulder as she watched.
The hospital room remained completely intact behind them.
But beyond the opening was nothing but sky.
And Jesus Christ was walking upon it.

Jesus remained suspended high above the Colosseum floor, standing upon nothing but empty air as though the sky itself were solid ground beneath His feet.
He turned slightly toward the family inside the medical suite.
The wind at that tremendous height moved gently through His robe, causing the fabric to shift softly around Him. His expression remained calm and composed, carrying both invitation and unmistakable authority.
Then He extended His right arm toward them.
His palm opened toward the family in a simple, unmistakable gesture.
He was asking them to follow Him.
His left arm remained naturally at His side as He waited.
Behind Him, the sky stretched brightly across the horizon. Far below, the enormous curvature of the Colosseum surrounded the empty arena floor, making the supernatural height at which Jesus stood even more apparent.
Inside the medical suite, Amin Parker, Cassandra Brown, and Mary Parker stood watching Him through the opening where the window had once been.
The hospital bed remained behind them, along with the IV stand and the medical equipment that had filled the room only moments earlier.
Amin's eyes remained fixed on Jesus.
Then he moved.
Amin began to rise from the hospital bed.
His healed wrists were clearly visible. The braces were still attached, but they hung loosely now, serving no purpose. Whatever had once been wrong with his wrists was gone.
His feet touched the floor for the first time since he had awakened.
He stood carefully at first, then straightened completely.
There was no weakness in his posture.
No hesitation.
His body was steady and strong.
He was fully restored.
The sheets shifted and became slightly disturbed as he stepped away from the bed. The IV line was no longer connected to him, leaving him completely free to move.
The dim hospital lighting reflected softly from the metal frame of the bed.
Cassandra stood near the foot of the bed, watching her father rise.
She did not say anything.
Her eyes followed every movement, as though she needed to see for herself that he was truly healed.
Behind her, Mary watched Amin with a mixture of relief and awe.
Her eyes briefly moved toward the opening.
Jesus was still there.
Still standing upon the air.
Still waiting.
Still inviting them to follow.
Amin turned his attention fully toward the opening.
Cassandra moved closer to him.
Mary followed.
The three of them gradually gathered together beside the hospital bed, standing close to one another as a family.
Amin stood fully upright.
Cassandra stood beside him on his right.
Mary stood directly behind Cassandra.
Together, they faced the open space where the hospital window had once been.
Their expressions carried awe, reverence, and readiness.
Outside, Jesus remained suspended in the open air.
He stood perfectly balanced, completely calm.
His full figure was visible against the bright sky, positioned just beyond the opening. His robe continued to move gently in the high-altitude wind.
The hand that had beckoned them forward had now lowered.
Yet His message remained unmistakable.
He was waiting for them.
He expected them to follow.
Far below, the Colosseum curved around the empty field, its immense structure emphasizing the impossible height separating them from the ground.
Behind the family, the medical suite remained exactly as it had been.
The hospital bed.
The IV stand.
The medical equipment.
The dim lighting.
Everything remained in place.
Only the window had changed.
Where glass and frame had once separated the hospital room from the outside world, there was now nothing but open sky.
The room led directly into the heavens.
And beyond that opening, Jesus Christ waited in the air.
Amin Parker was the first to move.
Jesus Christ remained several stories above the Colosseum floor, standing calmly upon invisible air as though it were solid ground beneath His feet. His robe moved gently in the high-altitude wind as He faced the family, His arm extended toward them in a clear invitation to follow Him.
Amin stood closest to the opening where the hospital window had once been.
His posture was steady.
Confident.
Restored.
The braces remained around his healed wrists, but they hung loosely now, completely irrelevant to his movement. Behind him, the hospital bed remained where he had been lying only moments earlier, its sheets slightly disturbed from the movement that had carried him to his feet.
Amin looked toward Jesus.
Then he took his first step.
His right foot crossed the threshold where the window had once been.
For an instant, his foot seemed to enter nothing but empty sky.
Then it came to rest upon something unseen.
Invisible air supported him.
His left foot remained inside the medical suite as he continued the motion, his body naturally leaning forward as he stepped farther beyond the room.
Amin was walking on open air.
He paused for only a moment, realizing that the unseen surface beneath his feet was completely stable.
There was no fear in his posture.
Only confidence and quiet amazement.
Behind him, Cassandra Brown and Mary Parker watched in awe and reverence.
Neither woman spoke.
They simply watched Amin follow Jesus into the sky.
Amin took another step.
Now he was completely outside the medical suite.
Jesus stood nearby, still balanced effortlessly.
The wind moved gently through Amin’s hair and clothing as he stood beside the Lord high above the Colosseum.
Jesus remained calm, watching the family as they prepared to follow.
Mary Parker was next.
She stepped forward from inside the hospital room and approached the open space where the window had once stood.
She looked toward Jesus.
Then she looked at Amin, already standing safely upon the air.
Mary took a breath and stepped forward.
Her right foot crossed the threshold.
Just like Amin did.
Her left foot remained inside the hospital room, suspended in the middle of the next step.
Mary’s expression showed awe that Jesus Christ was right there with them.
There was love.
There was faith.
She understood what it meant to follow Jesus into the sky.
She completed the step and brought her other foot outside.
Now Mary stood beside Amin, out there in the open air sky.
The high-altitude wind moved gently through her hair and clothing.
Jesus remained ahead of them, waiting patiently.
Behind Mary, Cassandra watched her grandmother step out.
The hospital bed remained in the background, along with the IV stand and the medical equipment that had surrounded Amin only moments earlier.
The familiar medical room seemed strangely distant now.
Cassandra looked toward the open sky.
Her father was already outside.
Her grandmother was now beside him.
And Jesus was waiting.
Cassandra stepped forward.
She approached the threshold and looked out into the enormous sky above the Colosseum.
She took her first step.
Her right foot crossed the threshold and landed upon the invisible air.
Her left foot remained inside the room, suspended mid-step.
Cassandra stared down.
There was nothing beneath her.
No platform.
No staircase.
Nothing that her eyes could see.
She slowly brought her other foot forward.
Now she was outside as well.
She stood upon open air with Amin and Mary.
Because they’re already angels, there was nothing to fear because they all have the ability to fly already.
Her expression contained awe because she was actually doing this side-by-side with the Lord Jesus Christ in her presence.
She had followed her father and grandmother into the sky.
Behind her, the hospital room remained intact.
The bed was still there.
The IV stand was still there.
The dim lighting and medical equipment remained exactly where they had been.
As soon as all of them was completely outside of the medical suite room, the open window magically closed. The glass magically returned. There wasn’t an open window anymore. It was as if the room was back in this original state the bed was made perfectly. the window returned perfectly. There wasn’t a hole in the wall. Everything was brand new.
However, outside of the window stood in the open air sky Jesus, Amin, Mary and Cassandra.
In the sky above the Colosseum.
Ahead of Cassandra stood Jesus Christ.
Beside Him stood Amin.
Mary stood nearby.
And high above the enormous arena, the four of them were now united outside the hospital, standing upon nothing that could be seen and preparing to go wherever Jesus would lead them next.
Cassandra Brown took another step forward.
She was now completely outside the medical suite.
Jesus Christ feet remained perfectly balanced upon the open sky. His robe moved gently in the wind, and His body was turned slightly toward the family as He continued to guide them.
The enormous Colosseum curved far below them.
From this height, the arena floor appeared remarkably small.
Cassandra looked down briefly, taking in the distance between herself and the ground.
Then she looked forward again.
She continued following her family.
Soon, all four of them were far outside the medical suite.
Jesus stood at the front of the group.
Amin stood directly behind Him, slightly offset to the right.
Mary stood behind Amin, slightly offset to the left.
Cassandra followed behind Mary, slightly offset to the right.
They were arranged almost like a straight line extending through the open sky.
None of them were ascending yet.
They were simply standing there, suspended several stories above the Colosseum floor.
Jesus remained at the front, calm and steady.
Amin stood upright behind Him, his healed wrists visible. The braces were still present, but they no longer served any purpose. His posture was confident, and there was no trace of the weakness that had once confined him to the hospital bed.
Behind him stood Mary.
Her hair and clothing moved gently in the wind. She remained calm and reverent, her eyes fixed upon Jesus.
Cassandra stood behind her.
The wonder in her expression had not disappeared. If anything, it had deepened. She continued to look around at the new world surrounding them, her hair moving lightly in the high-altitude wind.
Below them, the Colosseum dominated the landscape.
Its enormous circular structure stretched beneath them, revealing layers of stone, arches, walls, and architectural details that were impossible to appreciate from the ground.
The arena floor looked tiny from where they stood.
Above them, the sky was bright, open, and seemingly endless.
Natural daylight illuminated their faces and clothing as the wind passed gently around them.
Then continued Jesus moving .
He lifted one foot and placed it higher than the invisible surface beneath Him.
He was walking upward.
There was no visible staircase.
No steps could be seen.
Yet Jesus ascended as naturally as though a staircase had been placed before Him.
His robe flowed gently behind Him as the wind moved through the open air.
His posture remained calm and authoritative.
He was leading them.
Amin followed.
He raised his foot and placed it upon the next invisible step, higher than the one beneath him.
His movements were steady.
There was determination in his posture now.
He had been healed, and he was ready to follow Jesus wherever He was leading.
Mary came next.
She began ascending the invisible staircase, her robe and hair moving softly in the wind.
Her face reflected awe and faith as she looked toward Jesus.
Then Cassandra followed.
She stepped onto the unseen stairway and began climbing into the open sky.
Wonder remained in her eyes, but so did courage.
One by one, they continued upward.
Their feet was actually standing on a invisible set of stairs. They could feel it, but they could not see it because it was completely invisible.
An invisible staircase that cannot be seen by angelic eyes or eyes of anyone outside of the Lord Jesus Christ. A staircase that only the Lord knows about.
Jesus at the front.
Amin behind Him.
Mary behind Amin.
Cassandra behind Mary.
They climbed higher and higher, walking upon steps that could not be seen.
As they rose, the world beneath them seemed to expand.
The Colosseum no longer appeared merely as an arena.
It became part of an enormous landscape stretching far into the distance.
From their increasing height, its stone textures, arches, outer walls, and countless structural layers became visible in remarkable detail.
Beyond the Colosseum, distant towns began to appear.
Rooftops stretched across the landscape.
Farther still, vast fields and other distant environments unfolded beneath the bright sky.
The world below seemed enormous.
It resembled a vast, spacious realm from a grand Japanese role-playing game—a world so expansive that the Colosseum itself, despite its immense size, had become only one part of something much greater.
The higher they climbed, the smaller the four figures appeared against the enormous landscape surrounding them.
Yet they continued upward.
Jesus led the way without hesitation.
Amin followed with determination.
Mary climbed with quiet faith.
And Cassandra continued behind her, carrying both wonder and courage into the vast sky above the Colosseum.
Ascending upward to a place that no one in the whole entire franchise has even entered or even knew about they were on their way to a place that none of the characters ever written in this whole entire series has ever been.
As Jesus Christ, Amin Parker, Mary Parker, and Cassandra Brown climbed, the sky around them began to change.
The air shimmered.
The light bent.
And ahead of them, something enormous began to take shape.
A structure — massive, ancient, and only partially visible — hovered in the sky above them. It resembled a castle, but not a normal one. Its edges flickered between visibility and transparency, as if it existed halfway between the physical world and the spiritual one. Towers appeared and disappeared. Stone walls faded in and out. The entire structure looked like a floating fortress caught between dimensions.
The invisible staircase led directly to a small opening beneath this semi‑visible castle — a narrow hole, just large enough for a person to pass through. Jesus stepped into it without hesitation. Amin followed Him. Mary followed Amin. Cassandra followed Mary.
Inside the hole, the staircase continued upward, still invisible, still suspended in midair. They climbed through a narrow vertical shaft, the walls around them flickering between stone and light. And then, suddenly, the flickering stopped.
They emerged into a fully visible interior.
The inside of the castle was not semi‑visible at all. It was solid, enormous, and breathtaking — a cathedral‑like hall with gothic arches, towering ceilings, and hundreds of candles burning along the walls. It resembled the interior of Dracula’s castle, but instead of darkness and horror, it radiated sacred majesty. Warm candlelight filled the space. Banners hung from the rafters. Stone staircases spiraled upward into unseen heights.
Jesus continued to lead the way, climbing staircase after staircase. Amin followed Him closely. Mary and Cassandra climbed behind Amin, their halos glowing softly in the candlelight. They ascended through multiple floors, winding staircases, and long corridors. The journey felt endless — thirty minutes of climbing through sacred architecture that seemed to stretch forever upward.
Finally, they reached a chamber unlike any other.
The room was vast, circular, and illuminated by a single source of light:
a gigantic Bible, standing upright like a monumental door.
It was taller than all of them, carved with ancient patterns, glowing faintly at the edges. As the group approached, the Bible began to move. Its covers slowly parted, opening like a pair of massive doors. Light poured out from the center — bright, warm, and alive.
Inside the light was a passageway.
A doorway into the world of the Scriptures.
The glow intensified, revealing glimpses of trees, sunlight, and untouched earth — the Garden of Eden, waiting beyond the threshold. The Bible had become a portal, a gateway into the beginning of all things.
Jesus stepped toward it.
And the others followed.
THE AMIN PARKER CONTINUITY・BIBLE STORIES
Chapter 1— The Morning After the Shutout
———
The gigantic Bible stood upright in the center of the cathedral-like chamber, towering over the four figures who had gathered before it.
For several moments, nothing happened.
The candles continued to burn along the walls, their warm flames casting soft light across the ancient stone. The enormous arches disappeared into the towering darkness above, while the banners hanging from the rafters remained perfectly still.
Then the Bible began to glow.
At first, the light was faint.
A soft golden radiance appeared along the edges of the massive covers.
Then a thin line of light formed down the center.
The two covers slowly began to separate.
The Bible was opening.
A brilliant golden light escaped through the widening gap, spilling across the stone floor and illuminating the faces of everyone standing before it.
Jesus Christ stood at the front of the group, closest to the enormous Bible.
Behind Him stood Amin.
Mary stood behind Amin.
Cassandra stood behind Mary.
Their halos glowed softly beneath the warm candlelight, but the golden radiance coming from the Bible gradually became brighter than every candle in the chamber.
The four watched in silence.
The Bible continued to open.
The gap between its massive covers widened until the light within became almost overwhelming.
And then something appeared inside it.
At first, it was only a faint impression.
Shapes.
Movement.
A distant landscape hidden within the brilliance.
As the opening widened further, the forms became clearer.
Trees emerged from the light.
Sunlight appeared beyond them.
Then came the unmistakable sight of untouched earth.
The passageway inside the Bible had revealed itself.
It was not an ordinary opening.
The interior of the gigantic book contained a glowing passage that seemed to lead somewhere beyond the physical world.
The edges of the Bible shimmered with supernatural energy, forming a luminous frame around the entrance.
Beyond that frame was a world that seemed impossibly ancient.
The Garden of Eden.
Jesus stepped closer.
The golden light washed across His white robe, illuminating the fabric and causing the folds to glow softly.
Amin stared into the opening with awe.
Mary leaned forward slightly.
Cassandra did the same.
None of them could look away.
They were seeing a world that existed at the beginning of Scripture itself.
Then Jesus stepped forward.
He entered the passageway.
For a moment, His figure became partially silhouetted against the overwhelming golden light.
Amin immediately followed.
He stepped through the opening behind Jesus and disappeared into the radiant passage.
Mary followed Amin.
Then Cassandra.
One after another, all four entered the Bible.
Their halos shone brightly as they passed through the doorway, their light blending with the golden radiance surrounding them.
The moment they crossed the threshold, the world around them changed completely.
They were no longer inside the cathedral.
They were no longer surrounded by stone walls, candles, arches, or banners.
Instead, they found themselves walking through a dark and seemingly endless cosmic tunnel.
The space around them was filled with stars.
Strange geometric shapes floated through the darkness.
Triangles drifted past them.
Circles slowly rotated through the void.
Cubes moved silently through space.
Spirals twisted and turned in the distance.
Each shape carried a faint glow, illuminating the darkness just enough for the group to see their surroundings.
Beneath their feet was no ordinary floor.
They walked upon a semi-transparent plane of light suspended within the cosmic darkness.
It stretched forward beneath them, forming an unseen path through the strange dimension.
Jesus led the way.
Amin followed directly behind Him.
Mary walked behind Amin, with Cassandra following behind her.
Their halos cast soft illumination across the geometric forms as they moved deeper into the tunnel.
For a while, the passage seemed calm.
Then the tunnel began to change.
The darkness itself appeared to bend.
The entire passage twisted like a ribbon being turned through space.
The geometric shapes around them stretched into strange, elongated forms.
Triangles became narrow streaks of light.
Circles stretched into ovals.
Cubes distorted as though they were being pulled through an invisible current.
The stars began moving faster.
Points of light streaked past the group, leaving trails across the darkness.
Time and space seemed to bend around them.
Even their own bodies appeared slightly elongated by the distortion, yet they continued moving forward.
Jesus remained completely steady.
Nothing in the shifting tunnel seemed capable of disturbing Him.
He continued walking as though the strange deformation of the world around Him were nothing more than another part of the journey.
Amin raised one arm and shielded his eyes as a sudden burst of starlight flashed across the tunnel.
The brilliant light passed over him and reflected across his halo.
Behind him, Mary and Cassandra continued carefully forward.
Their halos flickered with reflections from the strange cosmic environment, their light changing with every passing distortion.
Still, they followed Jesus.
The tunnel continued to twist.
Then, gradually, the chaos began to disappear.
The geometric shapes became fewer.
The stars faded.
The darkness ahead began to brighten.
Far in front of them, a circular opening appeared.
At first it was small.
Then it expanded.
Pure white light poured through the opening, growing brighter with every step they took toward it.
The remaining geometric shapes dissolved into the surrounding darkness.
The cosmic tunnel began to disappear behind them.
And through the brilliant opening ahead, something familiar began to emerge.
Trees.
Sunlight.
Greenery.
The silhouettes of branches and leaves became visible through the white radiance.
Jesus continued toward the opening.
Amin followed Him.
Mary followed Amin.
Cassandra followed Mary.
Their halos grew brighter as they approached the light.
The four figures moved toward the threshold together.
Then Jesus stepped through.
The world changed again.
He emerged into a vast, lush garden illuminated by warm sunlight.
Amin followed.
Mary came next.
Cassandra stepped through last.
They had entered the Garden of Eden.
Tall trees surrounded them.
Flowers covered the ground.
Soft golden sunlight streamed through the leaves and branches overhead.
The earth beneath their feet was covered in vibrant greenery, untouched and pristine.
Behind them, the circular portal remained open for only a moment.
Then it began to fade.
The brilliant white light diminished.
The circular opening became smaller and smaller until it finally disappeared, leaving no trace that it had ever existed.
Jesus stood at the front of the group.
His arms were slightly extended as He looked across the ancient garden.
Amin stood to His right.
Mary stood to His left.
Cassandra stood farther to the right, slightly behind Amin.
Together, they formed a quiet procession beneath the trees.
Then Jesus began walking.
He followed a sunlit path leading deeper into the garden.
Amin walked beside Him on His right.
Mary walked beside Him on His left.
Cassandra followed slightly behind Amin, maintaining the same spacing as the others.
Their halos glowed softly beneath the natural sunlight.
Flowers bloomed along both sides of the path.
The trees swayed gently in the breeze.
Everything around them seemed peaceful.
There was no sound of civilization.
No machinery.
No buildings.
No signs of the modern world.
Only the garden.
Only the sunlight.
Only the ancient earth stretching endlessly around them.
The four continued along the path.
Eventually, they came to a place where the sunlight fell perfectly through the trees.
Jesus stopped.
He stood at the center of the path, wearing a white robe secured with a brown belt and sandals upon His feet.
His arms extended outward.
His halo shone brightly around His head.
To His left stood Amin, wearing tan pants and a white shirt, his halo glowing softly in the sunlight.
To Jesus’ right stood Mary, wearing her white shoulder-exposed top and black pants with a white stripe.
Farther to the left stood Cassandra, wearing her jeans and her hoodie bearing the word “EQUALITY.”
Her halo also glowed brightly.
The four stood together on the sunlit path.
Tall trees surrounded them.
Flowers grew throughout the greenery.
Soft rays of sunlight filtered through the leaves overhead, illuminating the group and filling the garden with a peaceful, sacred radiance.
For a moment, everything was completely still.
They had crossed from the hospital, into the open sky, through the invisible staircase, into the mysterious castle, through the gigantic Bible, across a cosmic passage between worlds, and finally into the beginning of Scripture itself.
Now they stood together in Eden.
And before them lay the untouched world of the beginning.
